Oshiens are fast, agile creatures found in the lower mountains of the Appalacians. Their thick, wiry fur helps to keep them warm and dry in the cold, wet seasons in the wild. They have long tails useful for running and keeping balance in the trees. They make nests in the trees for sleeping and mating. Oshiens mate for life. In each litter, there are 1-2 pups. When mating for the first time, the male will give the female a feather to show his affection. The female can choose to either accept and mate with the male, or she can decline. If she declines, the male can try again, but this time he will give her a gem. If she doesn't accept the second time, the male will have to leave her alone for the year and try again the next mating season if she doesn't already have a mate by that time.

Ren is very stubborn, she’s headstrong enough to take down anyone in her way. Ren is extremely loyal to her friends. She's stubborn, but fiercely loyal to her friends, she treats everyone like family and helps anyone she can. Ren can be very sly and tricky when she feels like it, but can also be very nice and caring. She’s very motherly towards children. Ren is brave and cunning and fights whoever she feels like, she won’t back down from a challenge either. Red isn’t like some little nice girl, she’s often snappy and never takes anything seriously, unless it comes to her friends and children. She can be nice and hyper but mainly to her friends and always respects her elders. Ren doesn’t always try to be mean though she often is. She loves to argue and can’t help but sometimes say something mean to others. She can sometimes be very depressed. Ren will often stay out of other’s way, but sometimes can’t help but jump in to help (or show off). She’s often uncontrolled and tries to tame herself but will freak out every now and then. Ren can switch out of that though, sometimes she can be found to be very calm and relaxed this side appears when she is feeling mostly depressed. Ren is in desperate need of a friend and even though she pushes others away from her, she sometimes longs for them to stay. Ren can often be seen being hyper and happy when she trusts someone, whatever you do, do not shatter that trust.
