I would name this adorable lass Niveo Finis. I named her this because she reminds me of snow dripping off branches at the beginning of spring, as the sunlight catches on it and turns it into a mirror. Her name actually means 'snowy end' in Latin. Even with this splendid name, she'd prefer if you'd call her Niveo, or Nemo. Her name is pronounced 'Niv- eh- oh Fin- is.'

THE STAR LIT NIGHT

I sat, silently watching the stars. The little pinpoints of light, billions of miles away. Most of them were dead, because of the millions of years it takes for the light to reach Earth. Simple. I repeat to myself. Simple. Lately, we've been studying stars in my class. How we are made up of the same things as stars. They were really interesting, and Noctis had been helping me with my homework. He stayed up all night, to watch the stars, and had told me the names for most of them. Sirius, Venus, North, and all the planets. We had a lot of things in common, but stars were something we could bond over. I wipe my eyes, and my nose. The air had a lot of pollen in it tonight, and she had slight allergies to it. Doing a mute sigh, she turned her face towards the moon this time. It seemed to be a third quarter, but she wasn't sure. Oh- she had been studying the phases of the moon, with the stars. I started to gather what I had, a bookbag and a science book, and stretched my small wings. They were stiff, since the last time I'd use them and needed to be used more often. I sigh again, and fly off into the night- going home.

Oho, many things.

Yes, many things make me special. You don't hear every birdsong the same, do you? Well, I'm like that. Different from the rest. Right now.. I'm not talking. I'm thinking. But you can read this as easily as you read words on paper, correct? Well, I have this devise. I can type words in, and they will print out. This is handy for essays, or communicating. Wait.. let me revise something. You know how earlier on, I said I was thinking? Well, I am. But I am also typing. Converting energy into motio- this isn't the point. I'm here to talk about why I'm special. Well, for one thing, I'm a mute. I've never been able to talk, since my first breath to my last. The only time I can make noise, is breathing. And coughing. And sneezing, and many other things. I just cannot talk. Oh.. another thing. This might be strange. I can see sounds. No, I'm not a lunatic. I have synesthesia. It's when certain sounds have color. Like the letter 't' is a light blue. And the sound 'sh' is a bright yellow, and 'ell' is a orange/red. But, the word 'shell' is as green as the grass, with a slight tinge of brown. Ask me a name, and I'll tell you a color. My name, Niveo, is a ironic one. It starts green, gets yellow, then blue. This is ironic, as my coat are softer, more mute tones, while these colors are neon. I find it amusing, sometimes.

Radio

Mute buddies o3o
Radio and Nemo are the best of friends. They understand eachother, in a rare way others can't since both are mute. Playing pranks, taking walks, and helping each other out, they are always supporting each other. Now, don't think they have any thing romantic going on, since Radio is dating, and Nemo doesn't want a boyfriend just yet. They do care for each other though, as it seems they can communicate their feelings without a voice. They truly are the best of friends.

Noctis

Noctis is almost like an uncle to Nemo. He's more of an adaptive mute, since he decided to be one long ago, yet still has a voice. He takes Nemo to a hidden pond he found as a child, and helps her do her homework under the cover of twilight. Her parents disapprove of he waking up before dawn, and doing her homework with him, but she has found a way to do it secretly. They have a bond, special for an adult and a child.

Nimble

Nimble is sort- of banned from Nemo's household. When they all went on a trip to Nevada, Nimble took Nemo to Las Vegas, to look at all the lights at night. Her parents freaked out, having lost one of their kids, and haven't been the same to Nimble. Nemo admires Nimble for his love to party, and outgoing personality.

Wolke is the German word meaning 'cloud', and I think it suits her because of her light colours and the fluffy-looking markings on her legs and jewel.

Wolke is a daydreamer. She finds it hard to concentrate on one subject for too long, and soon she finds herself drifting. She should be paying attention to her interpreter, but she thinks school is so boring. Her daydreams take her to new places, exciting places, and she can hear. But then she sighs, comes back to earth, and tries to concentrate again.
Even though she tries, Wolke just can't handle a tough situation. One of her greatest weaknesses is dealing with stress. She gets stressed out very fast, and it escalates quickly. When she is stressed or worried, she starts shuffling her paws, and her jewel glows more brightly.
History:

Wolke was born able to hear, but when she was about two she lost all her hearing virtually overnight from a bacteria called meningitis. She has always been bitter about her loss, and it took her years to learn sign language because she didn't want to. She quickly became known at school as 'that one deaf girl who's always grumpy', but really she was just lonely.

Why would her siblings ditch her? Where were they going? Shira padded over to a tree and sat. She eventually layed down with her head resting on her paws. She watched as the sun went down. It was a beautiful sight, but. But in the night what would come? Her family? Maybe. She just didn't know what was coming. She slowly tried to fall asleep, wondering on what was to come. She couldn't sleep, so she got up. It was around three-ish, and there was a meteor shower. She didn't know what it was, so she just sat there and watched. She eventually did fall asleep then. “Shira! Shira wake up!” Baby #3 said. She woke up, to see all of her siblings there. “Where am i?” Shira asked. “You were asleep. You fell asleep a couple of days ago right here in your bed.
