•About•
Candle cats are Felines that range from the size of an ordinary House cat to the size of a Liger. The most common size for these feline is that of a house cat. Their colors vary from natural to unnatural though it is rare to come across an unnatural colored Candle cat. These Felines are unlike any other. They do not have hearts but are kept alive by the candle inside them which is protected by a glass barrier. This candle stays lit for the cats entire life. Once the candle goes out the cat will pass away, only able to live for a few minutes without its light. The average lifespan for these kittens is about 15 years. Though on rare occasions they have been known to live to 25! They are not born with the wax seen on their paws for it forms as they age. The amount of was depends on their age. For example a 7 year old candle cat will have more wax the a 2 year old. The wax from their tail and inner candle goes to its front paws rather than building up inside the glass. The eyes on the cats are always the same color as their flame. The flames and candles and be just about any color. The rarest colors for the flames are white and black. The ones born with white or black flames tend to be the ones that live the longest. Other than the candles and the wax these cats are just like your ordinary pet cat! They are active and love to be outdoors. When cooped up they tend to go crazy and tear things apart.
