This one's a girl. She was based on a butterfly I found [dead, unfortunately] and I don't know the species. This picture is extremely similar to it, so you can look at that if you want. X3

Reason you chose the name:
Well, the name of my cat Ash came to mind, as he has similar base colors. Then I realized that the grey of her coat paired up with the subtle amounts of brown, red, and orange reminds me of a fire; specifically a forest fire. So I figured Ashen, or Ash for short, would make a perfect name for this beautiful cat. <3

I loved how you connected the name to the design itself. It was just a really neat idea. <3 Congratulations, Kida. :D

Reason you chose the name: The name means happiness and joy which is the feeling this cat reminds me of. The patterns remind me of warmth and radiance, therefore reminds me of happiness and joy. Reason you chose the name: With your source of inspiration in mind, I came across this name while searching for ones related to the fallen, or stillness, in memory of the butterfly. Peri, in Persian mythology, is the name of a fallen angel. I'd thought it was a perfect match! It's simple and easily remembered and spoken, but this does not take away from its own prettiness, in my opinion. I hope you like it, too!
