As you'll see as you go further down I said that Stratus's white markings reminded me of clouds lazily floating by. I don't know why, the shape maybe? But I researched some cloud types. I was kind of only paying attention only to how they soundedCx But anyways the two names that stuck were Stratus and Nimbus. Though if you ask me, Stratus fits her ever so slightly better<3

Why do you want her?:

I've seen Marble cats before, and they were all beautiful but none really made me want to adopt them. I guess, yes they are gorgeous but I haven’t seen any as striking as Stratus. My reasoning: Well first of all she is gorgeous<3 I love all the beautiful shades of blue C: The dark colors, with her white splashed fur and on top of her hypnotic blue eyes<3 for some odd reason she reminds me of a snow topped mountains. Her base, the dark gray, the actual mountain, the white, clouds that lazily float by or the glistening snow and finally the blue, the sky. She looks so pretty, how was I suposed to not go out for her? I’ve always wanted a marble cat, and I’d love for Stratus to be my first and hopefully not my last<3

What do you plan on doing with this marble cat if you win?

Stratus/Nimbus, would be thoroughly spoiled Cx I have some pets to order art and I can always do some myself, she wouldn't be neglected. My siggy is a mess at the moment, and I think she would "pretty it up" if you know what I mean Cx I do love rping, maybe we'll see Stratus there <3 Maybe even Stratus will find a very special kittie....<3

But anyways I think I'll base her Personality off the sky( you must think I'm crazy right know Cx)
The sky is free and wild, like Stratus. Sometimes she can be colorful, but she can be quite gray. Stratus is endlessly curious, always asking questions, always wanting to know more. There is never enough you can know, according to Stratus. Stratus also craves adventure, it doesn´t even have to be a very big one. Just a small little fly counts as an ¨adventure¨to her. But for her more dangerous ,*coughs* , ¨adventures¨ she uses something of hers called bravery. Although she is curious, Stratus is a pretty trusting kitting. She´ll ask a lot of questions, but ifyou answer them well, bam! Your her friend<3 She makes a pretty good friend as well! Though, there a few kinks...She can be quite reckless dragging in her other kitty friends into situation they did not want to be in Cx A daydreamer, Stratus sometimes has a short attention span but is able to focus, if she feels like it xD

-Base one off a Chalkhill butterfly. Lovely muted colors...<3
- I thnk it´d be very intervesting to see a raven/crow themed one. You would have to use your imagination a bit but I think the results would look lovely<3
- Why not base off one of a sunset rose? The colors are just so pretty...

Carbona(a feminine form of the latin word carbone, meaning "charcoal", which is pretty accurate for this girl. She looks as if she was coated in charcoal and soot, from old fires.

Personality
Carbona is a lonely type. Often, you'd see her moan about having little to no friends at all. She is horrible at protecting others, ands sometimes, she'd accidently hurt the thing she was trying to protect in the first place. She is brilliant looking after young, and often babysits them or nurses them until they grow up. She is frequently getting lost, due to not having any sense of direction apart from her lefts and her rights.

History
One day, two young Marble Cats, of the normal variety, struggled to find a good place to make their nest. The male had won the love of his mate, and needed to make a good nest in order to keep their bond strong. A couple of hours passed before they found a good place, a small bush, to go lay the eggs. Four of them were layed, all firm and elastic. The mother thought she could not raise them herself, so by the time they hatched, she and her mate had already left them, and her children would never know of their parents.

Carbona was the first hatched out of her litter, but was the last to learn to fly, which caused her to be called a "chicken". She was often shunned for her darker coat and few white markings, compared to her sibling's brighter, happier colors. They thought Carbona's pelt signified that one day, she would turn evil and cause great havoc. Because of this, they abandoned her at two weeks old. The little marble cat now had no one to protect her, making her vunerable to the elements and predators.

However, little Carbona tried her hardest to survive. She made sure to only feed on lily-of-the-vallies and foxgloves during clear days and to explore only at night, and only if no predators are around. She did not eat a lot, but during those dies when she did feed, she would eat quite a bit. She tried to avoid anything at all , but she always complained to herself about not joining a colony. This way of life helped her survive, but she had many more lessons to be learned.

One day, she decided to go out a bit later than usual to feed on a jasmine berry plant. While doing so, she was attacked by a large, unknown creature. Carbona knew she would have no chance against a creature of such large size. Surprisingly, another marble cat had saved her, a brightly colored male. After he brought her down, he explained to her who he was. Carbona was shocked to learn that the marble cat who had saved her was one of her brothers, who had been rude to her before. He apologized, but she still held a small grudge against him.

Every since that day, Carbona and her brother had lived together. At day, her brother would go out to get the food, while Carbona watched out for any intruders waiting to destroy her home. At night, Carbona would scout the area as her brother made the place more comfortable inside. Together, they both did an equal amount of work so that they could both live together. Even though Carbona might not trust her brother too well, she still respects him and treats him like any other normal marble cat.

Why I Want Her
- Her colors. Although black and white is a common color combination, it looks gourgeous on her. The fact the white looks like splashes of color makes her even more beautiful. Its like looking at the night sky with few clouds in the air. Her eyes also sparked interest in me. Why did she had a darker and lighter eye? Is the lighter eye her clouded, blind side? Or is that her dark side? Either way, she is beautiful in her on way.

Why do you want her?: I was browsing through the marble cat forums, and something about étoile caught my eye. I don't know if it was her appearance, or the possibilities of stories I could have her be in, but I instantly fell in love with her! :3

What do you plan on doing with this Marble Cat if you win?: Well, many things! Rps, art, and inspiration are only a few things I have in mind.

Personality: She loves kittens, and can't wait to have her own. When her family was destroyed, she became super alert and protective. Above all, she loves being happy, always trying to see the good things in life. The only little problem is, she likes to gossip, and no matter how hard she tries, it "Always slips out". She likes to talk, sometimes a little too much! An artist at heart, as she flies shes always on the lookout for a new substance to 'paint' with, using trees, rocks, and even other animals as her canvases! XD

Dipping my hand-like paws in the blue berry juice, I stick them to the flat face of the rock, making swirls. I clean the blue color off, switching to red, making purple where the colors meet. Using one of my two tails, I use green to make light, feathery lines. I back away, looking at my picture.
"Ahh...finally finished." I whisper to myself. Suddenly an idea hits me. "Wait a second..."
Lifting my left foot, I dip it in yellow, adding my signature. After cleaning myself, I walk away, happy yo have added my mark to my home.
