Some stuffs;
If allowed, Hoku suffers from a mutation on an X chromosome, causing him to be born with a course and thin mane. The mane hair falls out often, leaving him with patches of 'bald' areas. The wings come from another mutation not on the X chromosome. He is severely vulnerable and has a much higher chance of dying young since he has a harder time getting his food and can no longer fly from predators. He is not often sickly, though he is a bit more fragile than other Marble Cats. Sometimes he requires help to get to his nectar so that he can eat.

Oh, I was hoping I could get away without one. xD
In his story he has a mutation of sorts which is why he has neither wing nor mane. But I can add one!
