It means:

Something that is easily understood; intelligible. Mentally sound; sane or rational. Or transparent.

A fitting name in my eyes and it just fits him. To me his coat is almost ghostly or 'transparent'. As if he's here one minute and gone the next, but always somewhere near willing to listen, understanding and in return understood.
His full name is Lucid Dream.

• Lucid is a complicated being.
• He seems quite cold and distant, his heart is hard to please, yet he's very wise and open minded. He never judges anything before he knows the truth, but he tends to forget that not everything in life is about truth, facts and reason. He wishes he could be more free and stop over analyzing everything.
• Lucid hopes to evetually just let all his feelings go. In time he will learn to forget about the opinion of others and enjoy himself. It's what has kept him back in love matters too. He's afraid to fall in love because it's something that can't be based on fact, it's a strong feeling he can't find a reason for and this really really scares him.
• He's also known to be very calm, no one has heard him raise his deep husky voice or ever panic. Though he might be very different inside, he feels the need to be strong for other's sake and to keep them going. With his encouraging but faint smile he likes to help others get through any hardship.

Despite being a silent and pesimistic character, Lucid has many quirks that make him very special.
•For one he always walks/trots and usualy even gallops on the right side of everyone. It's just a little habit and he cannot stand being on the left, he just feels dizzy and that it isn't right. Everyone's used to this silly quirk though, so they just move aside.
•He also has to correct everyone, all the time. Because he always follows facts and reason he thinks he's always right and likes to interrupt if he thinks someone is wrong, ironicaly he's usualy the one that messes up. It can get annoying. At this point Lucid gets all hurt and pouts, which is quite cute for this no longer baby tempestine.
•Finally someting that all other tempestines seem to notice is that he closes his eyes when there's a stronger gust of wind. No one knows why including Lucid himself, he just does it. He's not really afraid of the wind, but maybe seeing the trees bend makes him flinch a little and once again show how sensitive he is.

Lucid has one very special place that's close to his heart.



It's a little place beside the cliffs where he goes to watch the sun set each evening, the waves crash and listen to the soft wind blow.
I took this picture a few months ago, I was enchanted by the place and it left wonderful feelings inside. I can imagine Lucid there right now, standing proudly, not afarid of anything. Maybe the only place he can be himslef and scream at the sky as much as his heart desires.

It's a very important song to Lucid. It shows how much he has been through, the pain he finds hard to hide. But there's always a little hope... as long as we can breathe we're alive, as he likes to say often.

I truly fell in love with him, and I don't just want him - I need him.
The fact that he's the last of his kind makes him so much more special, and a little sad.
I love that silver coat and blue antlers, the warm earthy brown on his legs and tail. Everything is perfect and I really don't know what else to say. He would be my first and only tempestine. He's real and breathing to me, this whole personality has formed without intention and I'll try my best not to let him go! ♥

Sunchaser is a very positive Tempestine. He always looks on the bright and good side of things ad tries to keep it so. He also always tries his best to remain in a good mood even at the tensest of times. Because of his positive nature, the charges he provides during storms are mostly positive as well, therefore ensuring less lightning ( you need both positive and negative charges to provide lightning.) , unless some other Tempestine is providing negative charges. He is perfectly fine with less lightning, and so are we, I believe!

Why Would you want this Tempestine?

I have a really really soft spot for equine-ish animals, and Temps happen to attract me more because they have horns and feathered feet. So when I saw this Temp I practically died. Besides, this would be my very first and only Temp, and I will feel very happy every time I see him.

What would you do with this Tempestine?

Sketch him, get all sorts of chibi or whatever art of him, RP him, show him off big time, and love him to death.

Well, I stiffened at first, and then my eyes got wide as I read the thread, and then I fell off my chair. After I recovered, I spent hours putting all I had into this form. The editing times are not a lie.

The Last Tempestine

Hello, I am Sunchaser. As my name suggests, I am in charge of chasing the sun across the sky of the planet Chicken Smoothie during the daytime, or chasing the sun to other places when It's time for a storm in a certain area. Me and those of my kind have lived in happiness with the residents of Chicken Smoothie, and our creators has come to trust each one of us to a different resident who suits him or her the most. But recently, our creators have somewhat lost interest in us. Perhaps it was the long period of time we have been breeding and multiplying, or it may be our genetics are at end, with no unique coat colors left to mix and match. Whatever the reason, I am quite surprised to find out that I am , in fact, the last Tempestine waiting to be trusted with a good and understanding resident for the time being. Our creators say it is time for them to take a rest, and in my opinion, it also means its time for us to run free, to explore, to gallop far and wide in the unlimited imagination of Chicken Smoothie, or even beyond. I hope my creator will find me the perfect owner, and I will also be galloping often over Chicken Smoothie. Just look up at the sun, and don't forget your sunglasses.

*shrugs* It's sad to see them close, but it was needed. And, well, I'll miss the species itself, I loved to plan them up with my friend.

Short Personality Describing him:

One of a Kind
Twarsayo is really something for himself, he is always everywhere and somehow knows what everyone is talking about and who. He always got a full up energy, thought he doesn't show that much. His fantasy is starting at flying tempestines and end up out in space with the most crazy ideas and dreams he can come with.

Calm enegry
He has alot of energy, but doesn't seem to use it much. He doesn't like when things is going to fast, but he can go do something and hold on it for several hours.
He is shockingly calm from his enegry and likes to take it easy, he hardly never freaks out or panics and is good at calming other down.

Inpatient
One of the bad sides of him is that he is very inpatient. He can't even wait three minutes without starting to whine like; "Are you ready yet?", "We'll be late!" and mostly "hurry up!"
He gets really calmed down when he finally can stop waiting, but would have freaked out totally if he had to wait and hour or two. His inpatience can be, but is just on the end of the thread, tolerated and something you can survive over time.

Air Swallower?
Yes, you readed right. He is an air swallower and tends to breath very fast, that is a bad habit for him and to not feel sick he tugs his teeths onto something and drags onto it so he berps and gets the air out.
If he doesn't find enything, he will start feeling ill and sick. He hardly gets ill by it, but it can happen. The fast breathing is making the bad habit and he can't be teached to stop doing it.

When it was first announced that there would be only last Temp. I thought I would try out just for the heck of it. Then when it popped up, my heart flew up and away, then landed right on his precious antlers. He is gorgeous. Period.

I choose this name because out of all of the Temp.'s, this big guy is my oasis. The desert being all of the other Temp.'s
