I WANT THE WARPORRR
Why do you want it?- I LOVE the design and the anatomy~! D'= Soon as I saw her, I really wanted to draw her. I also saw that, since this species is a bit masculine/horrific looking, all the entries thus far have been christened male. I love the idea of being creative and giving a character a more against-the-flow personality than what one simply looks like. Those are the ones that stick with ya. ;3
What will you name it?- East. I'm making it my own personal agenda to adopt or create four separate and unique/strange characters, one named after each standard direction of the compass, and have them form a story or bond as to why they travel or live together. I may be adopting from this place very often, it's so awesome and the species fit just right. ^.^
What does it remind you of?- The face reminds me of the masks worn by doctors during the Bubonic Plague. This isn't a bad thing- the doctors are often portrayed as symbols of horror, but in all truth, they risked their lives to heal people they didn't know with cures that they could never find. This reflects her personality- a real heroine, a compassionate sacrificer in the body of a terrifying beast. Like the Warpor description you put down, she's not the type to go out and
make friends, but once someone has touched her heart, she's a loyal fighter and protector. It takes a lot to make East turn on you, and to this day, only once has that happened- to protect an innocent from the cruelty of a faking friend.
Will you cherish it?- Yes. :3 I don't do a lot of digital art of my characters, because I like to spend that time on commissions. But I do TONS of art of my adopted characters in my sketchbook, because I use them to push myself with perspective, new poses, foreshortening, etc. She'll be well cared for, though poked around a lot with a pencil. <3
Extras:
I feel like I got the proportions
completely warped on this, so if I have time after Thanksgiving, I want to revamp
everything on this ugly little piece of art. I had almost NO time to clean anything up.
