First off, I apologize for the carpy background. it just wouldn't agree with me. Anywhoo...

The heat of summer is here at last, spring's warmth turning into heat. Light paws flash across the newly reborn land, as fast and powerful as the summer storms, while the world is recoloured with lushness. Many seek shelter in the shade from the strength of the blistering heat, while others choose to frolic in the water happily.

Dark storm clouds, the harbinger of danger, scatter the creatures and send them back to their burrows. Earth shaking rumbles and earsplitting cracks fill the air as a rush of rain falls from the angry, crying clouds. But the summer storm ends as suddenly as the flashes of light that had taken place during, and leave the land nourished and clear of the droopy heat.

Like the cheetah who sprints across the land to bring summer, the season is gone all too fast, and chills run over the hills once again.

This means golden in latin. I thought this name really embodies what summer feels like to me, even though it IS a bit cliched c:
I think Aurelio sounds somewhat exotic, and that just connected with traveling around during the summer {in my crazy mind at least}.

Summer is all about being free to do what you want for once, {or at least most of the time :]}. Aurelio personifies this aspect of the season perfectly: roaming around, exploring new horizons. He can be quite energetic, and often his spirit reaches others and infects them. {Okay maybe 'infects' wasn't the best word to use :B} The freedom and happiness you feel during the summer? Yep, that comes from him. The urge to get up, off the computer, and run around in circles while singing Disney songs? Yep, him too. {Although he'd never admit listening to Disney songs}

Lazy isn't quite the right word to describe 'im, so I'll make do with reflective. Summer is about resting and relaxing, taking your mind off of worldly problems for just those few sweet minutes you have. Or seem to have. Aurelio is neither rushed nor hasty about anything-he is content to settle down for a while simply to soak up the sun.

He is very sweet and nice and if there is a chance to make more friends, hes all ears. He loves to bring summer and can be distracted by thing from nature, other things - as glitter and kids - he is not very interested in. He loves the Daku Leaf, which is a special bush that only grows in the sumer. He observes it every summer to know if it has changed at all. The leafs have a golden center that fade into white. He gets in a trance when he sees them.
"What? I dont get in a tra- oh, has it grown!"As you can see, our little friend here has lost himself in the beauty of the Daku leaf. Lets leave him alone now shall we?

He is as swift like the lightning he brings. Sometimes his anger can be as hot as the blazing son which intensifies the heat and sometimes he is as free flow as the gentle breeze that runs over the lush land. He is as brave as lightning and doesn't back down from a fight, He will protect his loved ones with out a second thought and will come to the rescue of others in the blink of an eye. His roar is as farce and loud as the mighty oceans rough waves. His heart is as soft as the warm sands, but his pride is as strong as a mountain. He loves the young Goddess of Fall. When it is time for him to move on he is happy because thats when he gets to see her as she starts the game of chase as she takes over to let fall settle. He loves the Goddess of Spring because of the beauty that she brings to the land and leaves to him to take care of. He is sad to leave the Fawn, but happy to see the Wolf and her stunning beauty. However there is one that he dislikes and that is the God of Winter. He dislikes how Winter comes and completely destroys what him and Spring worked so hard to make beautiful and prosper and how he puts to sleep what Spring worked hard to awaken and he worked hard to tend to a and take care of. Although he dose not like Winter, he knows that it mast take it's place like everyone else in the role of seasons and how some need winter to survive.

You never realize how much you love something until it's gone. Whether it's a person, place, or thing. Whether it's a past relative, old friend, pet, love, or even your favorite hoodie that was lost. You still love them all, maybe not the same amount, but you love them none the less. And it's when you come to the realization that you miss them, that you're willing to do almost anything to get them back. And sometimes the part that hurts the most, is when you realize that there isn't anything you can do. But if you've ever felt like that, don't be stuck on the sadness of the loss or the "what if's". Be happy of the time you had with them and remember the good times and smile when you remember, even if there are tears in your eyes, sadness in your heart, or even the sting of loneliness, still smile. They would want you to remember them with joy and a smile.
