Paragraph about her: Hala isn't a very, as you would say, 'Timid" creature. She has been known to fly right up to creatures larger than her and tell them off if they try to hurt her friends. She is all around funny and lighthearted and loves to travel, unlike most Marble cats. She does have a slight temper, but most of the time she is a very laid back cat and is great company.

Cat name: Well I decided to name her something a little...daring. Vidia is what I came up with. :3 I think it fits her pretty well.

Gender: Female

Why you want her: Well to say why I want her is because for one she's original. You see I love all things original and while I love the designs for the other Marble cats I've seen there's just nothing like the original. That and she reminds me of an Abyssinian with her coat. And her eyes that I could certainly look at and think of either a jade stone or a grassy meadow. This is actually my first time ever trying for a Marble cat, and though I may not have 'caught up' with the program like my fellow Chickensmoothians, while looking through the adoption choices this is the one that stood out to me the most. I tend to prefer those with dark earth colors, to bright wild ones. *shrugs* Just the way I am and I hope to win Vidia here.

Paragraph about her: Now then you asked about what kind of Marble cat Vidia is then did you not? Well I'll be glad to tell you! Vidia is a bit of a tough one though so I'll have to break it down for you. If there's one thing Vidia is it's speedy. She loves to do things fast and quick that way she won't have to worry about it later on. Another thing she is, is wild. Her heart is as feral as the land that she lives in and she tends to somehow intimidate others from her attitude despite her rather small size. Being speedy and wild makes for a rather surprising but wonderful advantage you'd find. Not only does it sometimes make things easier for you when you're on the run or looking for food, but predators will think twice about trying to eat you after you give them a nasty bite. Besides being speedy, and wild, Vidia also has a rather solitary side. She will go with groups if it benefits her, but only then and not after. She values her solitude and her privacy and takes it very seriously as well. Besides being rather solitary, though she does tend to enjoy the company of others sometimes, Vidia tends to enjoy watching hummingbirds and sometimes having what she calls "speed races" against them to get to the sweet nectar they both enjoy. She's even made a friend of one who she can understand somewhat and calls Tavi. Tavi is a rather special hummingbird to her and she not only enjoys being with him, but finds he's a great sentry when need be, though luckily there have been no close calls as of yet. Between his sharp eyes and Vidia's poisonous bite combined with their fast speeds predators often find themselves overwhelmed and will hurry to leave them both be. Which is exactly what both were hoping for.

A Life Lesson-

You're small. You know that much. You've known that much ever since you were a young one, newly hatched from an egg. Though your father hadn't stayed your mother did and she taught you many things. How to live, how to gather food, how to fly, but she never did tell you how to accept that fact. In so many ways you've tried to ignore it, tried to think it was simply just you, but meeting other marble cats along the way...has proven you wrong. Plus the fact that many of the predators that face you are in fact smaller than the Wingless creatures you've seen. You and Tavi, your hummingbird friend, usually find that the creatures that hunt you both run away at the sight of them and honestly who wouldn't? Those guys are huge! And merciless.

You remember how one time while you were trying to escape the killing beak of a crow you met one for the first time. Though you aren't sure if it saw you, it certainly saw the crow and killed it without ever even touching it. An arrow through the chest is what caught it, but you wouldn't know what an arrow was. You've never seen one before. You managed to get away but not before catching your first real look at the Wingless. It was huge yes, and it had little fur, except for on its head. It's eyes were strange to you, a rather silver grey. Where it was furless its skin looked cold to touch so you kept away. Not that you would've touched it anyhow. But what caught your attention most was it's strange speech. If that could be what it was. It's words were garbled to you, the way its words pulled and pushed from what you assumed was its mouth. It was strange and yet oddly enough you liked it.

Had it not been for Tavi pulling you away, you probably would have still been standing -er- flying there like an idiot. Later on while Tavi rested for the night in a recently abandoned hummingbird's nest, you spent the whole night thinking about that strange creature. And while you were thinking you came to a conclusion. You needed to learn more about them, so you wouldn't become prey. Which was why you are here now. Tavi's resting again probably tired from moving those wings of his so fast, while you're lying on a tree branch watching what could only be a Wingless dwelling. The thing's too huge to be anything else! Light filters from the square entrances and so you decide to forgo eating for a night to figure out what's happening. Carefully, as you are not sure if these creatures can even hear you, you flit down towards one of the entrances. It's then that you see a marble cat on the inside and your eyes widen in shock for a moment as a red alert sounds in your mind. Thinking it needs help you fly towards the entrance to the Wingless thing. Only to smack dead into something very, VERY solid.

"Ow..." You mutter as you fall senseless to the ground. Luckily you landed in a sweet rose patch. Your landing was as soft as could be hoped for. Your nose twitches at the scent of nectar and your long tongue instinctively slides out to drink it. After a good amount of nectar drinking on your part, your mind is abuzz with this new revelation. Perhaps these Wingless creatures aren't so great after all. Why else would they make an invisible solid thing that hurts when you try to fly through it? It's then that you realize something. You need answers. Fluttering your wings you fly upwards to find the Marble cat staring at you her green eyes looking as dazed as you feel, and she's flying too. "I'll come back." You say, and she tries to say something to you, but you can't hear. It's then you realize something peculiar, like the fact that her wings look almost like yours, but you dismiss it before turning and flying back to your resting place with Tavi.
