The Princess

Why do you want to adopt?
Because she might seem really plain, but I adore her natural colouration and the way she holds that flower in her mouth is adorable!
The way her markings taper off are really intriguing too.
(She also somehow reminds me of wheat/corn fields ouo)

Mai "Mika" Dewsberry

Personality: (Likes, dislikes, how they react to people, other rats, etc.)
Mai is a very friendly gal, and loves interacting with others and making friends. In fact, you could definitely call her quite the social butterfly! Warm-hearted and sweet, she's a humble lil' rat who has a simple, one-track mind and is set to enjoy life to the max. Whenever she meets someone who is an incessant, senseless worrier or a skeptical cynic and the like, she tries to help them be happier, even if only for a while. Although the advice and tidbits of information she gives out is akin to handing out leaflets of miscellaneous knowledge and thus can become quite annoying, it is also an endearing habit of hers and the normal reaction of one being 'counseled' by Mai is a grudging smile. She might appear scatter-brained, but in reality she's very on top of her life. However, do not mistake being organised and responsible with being fully in control! She is a great believer in serendipity and karma, and does not wish to interfere in life's mysterious workings. Her motto is basically, 'What happens happens', and you can't change that so just enjoy it while you can. Being a great lover of flowers she takes care of them and hands them out to other rats, often paired with a remark about their lifestyle and how to further improve it. Her favourite kind of flowers are daisies, because they're so versatile and not only that but they're a fairly old-fashioned, 'classic' flower. They also represent a sort of untouchable purity to her that is irresistible, like drawing a moth to a flame. Mai detests chemicals as she is a 100% natural/organic grower, and anything artificial interfering with Mother Nature completely goes against the aforementioned beliefs she holds.

• Pretty much obsesses over flowers!
• Enjoys pretending to be a princess, especially a faerie princess of flowers
• Has a talent for making up engaging stories that are easy to follow and understand, but have a deeper underlying meaning that even she doesn't know about!

"Dearie me!" She says
"Y'all right?" A question posed
Unanswered by the blooming organism
Sitting crushed in front of her

Gently, ever-so-gently
She picks up the flower
"Well bless your heart."
And then she commences plucking
