"A very special egg was discovered on one of my travels, and I have decided to give this egg to a dear friend of our Rune Dragons. The Nightmare Bolt Rune is an elusive dragon that makes it's home upon the high Alpines of our more mountainous regions. This Rune loves high altitudes and searches for the perfect storm to get stuck by lighting with....that is correct, I did say these runes actively search to be struct by hundreds of bolts of electricity on a daily basis. But this is a natural thing they do in the wild, and one touch from a charged Nightmare Bolt will stop your heart dead, and perhaps char you body beyond recognition, but that is beside the point! When threatened, these creatures will discharge the electricity they store and are even more dangerous when in a pack. One bolt could charge a whole city for days and these runes never cease to lack in energy or tenacity. They grow to be about the size of a large dog and are extremely agile fliers! They can even sprint quickly across the ground and are known to hunt in packs as well. Although they do not hunt humans, these dragons are very protective of their nests but also too curious for their own good. They would much rather investigate you than do you harm...it is just that, you may be shocked to death in the process. When happy or excited, these dragon will let loose bursts of lighting to express their love for you, which will in turn kill you...Well, these dragons are not exactly suitable for many rune bearers, but the person I am going to give this to will find a way to take care of this little egg. Just be sure to handle it with rubber gloves, they tend to spark uncontrollably when they are about to hatch!"
