Name I'd give this cat: Kazuo
Reason for name: I saw that Mello-chan named her kitten Kazue, 'first', so Kazuo, meaning 'first son' seemed appropriate. I hope he'd be able to stay close with his three siblings.
Reason I want this cat: When Mello-chan first showed me Rei, I squeed for ages and agreed she was adorable. I've admired Marble Cats ever since. When I saw the mother of this litter was Rei, the first Marble Cat I ever saw, it just seemed perfect. The fact he's my favourite colour only adds to the amazingness of little Kazuo. I hope I can own this beautiful kitten!!!
Gender: Male
Personality: Kazuo is a proud and quiet Marble cat. He gets on well with his siblings, including his wingless sister. He likes to think of himself as above others, and loves to compete with his family. He's a spoilt kitten, often hanging around a human girl named Ryuzaki, though he doesn't wish to become a pet; preferring to be free. He likes showing off his aerial skills. To sum it up, Kazuo is proud, vain, stubborn and competitive, but loves to be spoilt, much like a normal kitten. He's sociable, but not loud or overbearing. He enjoys being playful, but has moments where he wants to be alone to think.
Art:Link<3 Probably will be improved, but I don't have much time.
Backstory: Kazuo. First son of Rei and Rowan. His tale is a bizarre one, though I'm afraid that, if you truly wish to know his story, you'll have to listen to me. Tragic, I know.
I am Evelyn Walker, just Eve to most, and it is my business to know every event around here. You see, I'm a thief, and a rather prolific one at that. I see everything in this city.
You see, Kurai Chiyō no Chi was a remarkable being. Not a remarkable human, no; for she was not. Human, that is.
A kitsune in human form, amongst a clan of others like her. As a whole, the infamous Kurai clan were all kitsune. All, except Chinōchi's younger cousin, Rue.
Kurai Ryuzaki was unique in many ways; the first being that she was a wolf shifter. A werewolf, if you must, though the term is rather ridiculous, not to mention outdated. The second was that she was two people. Suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder, better known as DID, Ryuzaki was only one of the personalities inhabiting her body. Whilst Ryu was calm, logical and shy - an antisocial genius, the other, Rue, was short-tempered, unstable, and homicidal, though almost equalling Ryuzaki's intellect. It is Rue that caused this story to have to be told, and Chinōchi the catalyst that started it all. Though, in reality, it started elsewhere.
In an abandoned building inside the Kurai complex, a Marble Cat named Rei and the birth of her litter of four are the true start of this story.
Chinōchi shivered as she left her shared house, the news having alerted her to the fact that the feared 'Kurai no Amaya' was around. She snorted derisively at the idea the almost supernatural assassin was a Kurai as her name suggested. Far more likely it was a nickname bestowed on her by the overexcited press. Anyway, something that day made her stray from her usual route, and instead walk through the deserted part of the large complex. It was this bizarre change from the norm that had her outside one particular building at one particular time; the time a small figure leapt from the roof of said building to land on the next one across. Chinōchi's already overactive mind quickly identified the figure as a young female.
Could it be…'Kurai no Amaya'?! She thought, unnatural yellow eyes tracking the figure until they vanished from sight. Black hair, but she couldn't see the face. Now intrigued, the Kurai heiress pushed open the door to the building the unfamiliar female had just vacated.
The old door creaked open once again as the excited Chinōchi dragged a curious Ryuzaki after her.
"Look!" She whispered in delight, pointing out a small alcove. Ryuzaki screwed her face up as she tried to make out what it was that had her older cousin so excited.
"A... really small cat? With wings?"
Chinōchi sighed, hitting Ryu round the back of the head. "A Marble Cat, idiot! And I think she's got a litter!"
"Oh!" Ryuzaki suddenly beamed. For a genius, she seemed rather slow on the uptake. Cautiously waiting, almost holding her breath until the grey and white mother had left, presumably to find nectar, the kitsune girl crept to the nest and stared in. Four marble-like eggs, in varying shades of blue and white and... red?
"Cool!" Squealed a delighted Ryuzaki, whom Chinōchi had not heard coming up behind her. "That one's my colour!"
Chinōchi could only sigh at her cousin's childishness.
The two Kurai returned to the nest frequently to check up on the eggs, until one day, a short while after the eggs had hatched, when it wasn't Ryuzaki that woke up in control of her body. A manic grin on her face even as russet fur coated her body, it was Rue, the homicidal second personality that had assumed control, and she was VERY bored. Switching to wolf form and going on a rampage through the Kurai complex would alleviate that boredom nicely.
Somehow, Rue narrowed her eyes as the thought crossed her mind,
I've ended up where I did not plan to be. Far from the crowd of scared Kurai kitsune in the centre of their complex, it was the Marble Cat house she now sat in front of, fully wolf with her russet, seemingly blood splattered coat, white paws and distinctive scarlet eyes, the shade darker than crimson that signified Rue was in control. Pushing the door open with her nose, she was about to turn around and leave when the more feral side of her mind, the wolf's brain, picked up on the presence of the Marble Cat family.
The wingless one is easy prey. The wolf's thoughts were smug as Rue, so deep into her bloodlust, could only agree. Creeping closer, jaws parted slightly, she paused in confusion as something struck her nose. She looked up and all around her, but saw nothing. Then, with a mighty… squeak, the red egg's inhabitant struck again, dive-bombing the confused wolf.
Kit's got spunk. The wolf admitted, as a furious Ryuzaki screamed abuse at her insane counterpart. Rue, confused by the sudden assault on her mind as well as the tiny kitten's heroics, turned tail and ran. She had to agree, though…The kitten definitely interested her.
