Amaya woke to see the shimmering night sky above her, so close and yet so out of reach. She tried to swipe at them with her paw, but failed and "hmmphed" in the process. Her parents, Blue Diamond and Black Night, chuckled while they saw her attempt. They were happy, but their happiness wouldn't last long. A dark creature crept behind them, snarling silently, and then jumped to attack Amaya's parents. Blue Diamond gave a cry, but then was soon chased by the creature into the nearby forest, where Amaya couldn't enter, for dark, evil creatures lived there. Blue Diamond made one final grab for her daughter, but missed, and fled for her own child safety and hers. Black Night was trying to fend of the creature, but as soon as he saw his mate fleeing into the forest, he gave one final look at Amaya, then fled. Amaya still hopes to find her parents to this day.
