Altivo. I really enjoy this name, coming from a movie I used to watch as a kid. Although, it does have a meaning in Spanish, contemptuous, disdainful, insolent, and arrogent. Those are a few words that I hope gives an idea of it's meaning.

Altivo is highly aspirational. Fighting for his dreams and what he believes in. Although, he doesn't have a one-track mind and doesn't let life slip him by. Being so in tuned to nature, he loves the outdoors and all the wildlife that comes with it. Always a kitten at heart, he tends to let his curiosity get the best of him and finds himself into trouble more often than he should. Though, he isn't helpless. Also mischievous and sly, he can get out of trouble almost as fast as he got in. Which, for a cat of his nature, is a plus.

Story
Maplesand loved watching sunsets. His hummingbird friend and step-mother, Lola, was sitting beside him on a branch of an oak tree. A blue jay, when he was still and egg, had destroyed his home. His mather had died in this ordeal and left him alone in a patch of roses. When Lola had found him she raised him as her own child. Even thought his 'brothers and sister' (Lola's reall children) had moved out Maplesand still lived with Lola.

A week later a storm broke in the little patch of woodland he and Lola lived in. When the storm passed away. Tragedy befalled the small family. Lola had not been found after the storm. Two days later she was found floating in the river. Maplesand was devastated! He didn't do anything but mourn for days. After a while he set off to repair his home.

A month later Lola was still missed. even though Maplesand was content with his house and mate, Trinity, he still remembered Lola. His first daughter he named Lola in honour of the hummingbird that had adopted him.
