Personality: Quiet and calm, Mable loves to sit by the edge of rivers and watch the water flow by. She loves to eat fish and the bugs that live near the water. She doesn’t like fruit as much and only eats them when there isn’t a river nearby. She loves the rain and any other form of water she also like flowers, especially the small ones. She enjoys watching the young Feerlings as they play and sometimes even joins in on the fun. She enjoys being around older Feerlings as well, soaking up their stories and knowledge. She doesn’t get along as well with Feerlings her own age though and often shies away when the others come around.
Short Story: As she sat next to the river Mable lazily watched the bugs gliding above the water’s surface; she couldn’t be happier being in such a peaceful place. All of a sudden her keen eyes caught a glimpse of something breaking the water and she hopped to her feet. She wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity to get a tasty snack. Mable slowly slid into the shallow water and continued until the water was over her belly and then stood very still, blending in beautifully with the running water. She waited for several minutes and finally made a quick snap at the water completely submerging herself in the process. She emerged dripping wet, her gorgeous fur sparkling in the sunlight, a wriggling little fish in her mouth. Very pleased with herself, she proceeded to settle down on a nearby rock to enjoy her delightful little meal.
