"Glow, glow, bring forth a glow from the darkness," the Cryptling chants in a low tone. "Let it give light to these darkened caves." A bright, green light flashed. You covered your eyes, shielding them from the blinding light. It subsided slowly. When it was gone, a glowing, green Chocling with glowing, brighter green markings was standing where the light had come from.
"Let us welcome the Glowling into this world from the Timespace," the Cryptling announces. "A light to shine forever, even in the darkest places. Glowling, you may choose your human companion who will guide you to bring light to the dark places of this world. Tell how you will judge each human."
"I will choose by the name you give me," the Glowling says. "It must be a name that means "glow" in a different language of this world. And I will only choose someone who can tell me the meaning of the words on my back. They mean something in a language from this world, and I know not what they mean nor what language they are in. Give me a name that means glow and tell me what this word means and what language it is in and I shall join you."
