Lyte Color(s): suprise me, but something with nice, swirling, elegant patterns in dark gray on top of light gray.
Lyte Gender:female
Lyte Name: Argentum, but she prefers to be called Arie(AY-ree) for short, she doesn't quite like her name the way it is, and that's what the name of the Faerie whose laughed she was created from.
Lyte Form:I can't decide between a phoenix or a swallow....I'm leaning on swallow though....here is a ref pic for the shape!

I watched my Lyte curiously, it swooped and twirled around my head. "Hmmm, you need a name..." she looked at the tag on her jar she was in. "Argentum? Is that your name?" The Lyte flashed once, it didn't seem happy with that. "Okay!" I laughed "Take it easy." I thought for a moment....maybe we should ask Flare!" a few minutes later, we arrived in the Faerie Corner Shop, and my Lyte flitted around curiously, inspecting everything. I could tell she was a curious little creature. "Flare, we need some more information on my Lyte, she doesn't really like her name!" the Lyte bobbed up and down next to me. "Any advice? Has this happened before?"

I don't believe editing will be necessary due to the fact that you specifically said, and I quote,:

Those are dark grey swirls on top of a light grey base. Believe it or not, this took a long time due to the fact that my computer malfunctioned during the creation of the original. This is my second attempt. I do hope you like how I made a compromise between a sparrow and a pheonix. I hope you'll be satisfied.

My Response:

Flare bobs up and down thoughtfully for a moment.

"That's odd..." she said hesitantly, "You see, Faerie Lytes aren't supposed to come with a name... How did that tag get on there...?"

She busily flutters about the jar, not much taller than the jar's height herself. Finally she floats back up to eye level and brightens momentarily in a Faerie Lyte's version of a shrug.

"Oh well... I give up." she says, "You don't have to keep to the name, but she might very well already be used to being called that, like it or no."

"What you could do," she continues perkily, "is to give her a nickname that reminds her of her original name so that the transition won't be so difficult."

With that, she floats off to her next customer after a friendly flit of her wings.

*facepalm* my computer has horrible graphics. it's a hp book, so it's itty bitty too. Sorry for any trouble, and I love how you mixed a swallow and phoenix together! Lytes are by far one of my favorite adoptables ^^)
I nodded "Thanks a ton, Flare." I went back home with my Lyte, and looked at her. "Silver?" it bobbed side to side, as if saying 'no way!' I thought for a long moment, then I don't know why, but thought of a perfect name. "How about...Arie?" it let out a happy glow, and swooped around "Well, I like that name too!" I smiled and laughed at the little Lyte's antics.

Ooooh, I see! I'm sorry... I was getting snippy. I'd just worked so hard... I don't know. ^^' I should get more sleep. lol. Hope you have a ton of fun with your new Lyte buddy. She really seems to adore you! :3

Gah! I'm so terribly sorry! I only just saw this!

Argentum gracefully glides through the air, then appears to "land" on your shoulder, though you can't feel anything there except for a slight tickly sensation and a greater lightness in your heart. She bends her "head" and appears to be preening. I think she likes your praises of her.
