Kylma

A Native American word meanind "Winter".

She goes by Kym {pronounced "Kim".}



Female, of course.



Kylma sat contentedly in the 1987 Acura that she had rebuilt. It had taken almost two years, but she finally had a place to call home.

It had a faded maroon exterior, 2 black racing stripes running down the hood, and 4 doors, although the back ones were on permanent childproof lock. The khaki interior squeaked as Kylma shifted. In there, it was nice and cold. She had used an abundance of insulation, and left the air conditioner running for 6 days on end. The atmosphere was exactly 24 degrees year round; the perfect temperature.

She let her gaze slide to the floor board where her snacks sat. She had only her favorites there; popsicles, Kool-Aid Jammers, and trail mix. With a quick swipe, Kylma’s paw wrapped around the baggie of trail mix, and she took a few bites before putting it back. Yes, this was the life. It was paradise.

Snow fell silently outside of the tinted windows, and the dim moonlight filtered onto the virgin white. Alaska; an endless tundra of possibilities.

This was where Kylma was, and exactly where she wanted to be. Here there were opportunities, and chances of success. Here, there was a little Acura filled with happiness.

Short story: Glacier sped across the ice, her heart fast as a drum. She glanced behind her and saw Belle (a fake tarlekinn XD) right on her tail. Glacier was determined to beat her to the cave. Ice shards were kicked up behind her as she put on a great burst of speed. Almost to the icicle-incrusted cave, she leaped and slid into the cave.
