Why do you want to adopt?
Well, I absolutely love blind characters, and her markings are so beautiful. Simple, yet charming. I love to draw and paint and such, and for a while when my dad was unemployed we would spend hours sitting at the kitchen table drawing together. Seeing her made me remember the good and bad times I had then, and I couldn't help trying for her. She reminds me of one time when my cat stepped on my paint pallet, tipped it over, and set paint flying everywhere, including on me! Ironically, a patch of blue paint landed right where this ratlet has it on her face. This ratlet brings up so many memories from when I was younger (except being blind XD) how could I not instantly fall in love? The ratlet I previously adopted from here, Pacana, needs a friend, and I think she and this ratlet would be great friends. I will try my best to make sure I have a good chance at winning this ratlet, as I love it so much <3

Memoria (means Memory in Spanish)
I wanted to give her a special name, And Memoria just seemed to fit, since she made me remember so many memories
Personality:
Blind. Memoria knows there is more to life then seeing, and is just as happy as a normal rat that can see. She tends to talk a lot, and sometimes annoys other rats by being just a little too chatty.
Hard of hearing. Along with being blind, and even though she has dumbo ears, Memoria also doesn't hear things that well. She's not deaf, but she can't hear things far away, or even just from another room! She doesn't let this bother her, though.
Social. Memoria loves to make new friends and play games with other rats, especially Pacana, her best friend and the rat she lives with.
Determined. When Memoria sets her mind on something, she never gives up or abandons it. If she doesn't succeed doing it the first time, she always tries again. Pacana helps her with difficult projects or games, like leaping from the chair to the table and to the kitchen without touching the floor, a game they often play.
Sweet. Memoria not only loves sweet foods, but her personality is sweet, too! She loves helping other as much as she can, which is limited due to her blindness, though she still loves to help.
Confident. Memoria is confident in what she does, how she does it, and in herself.
Amazing sense of smell. Memoria has a amazing sense of smell. She can smell sweets cooking from all the way down the block! (Or from the kitchen XD)
Peaceful. Memoria never starts fights and is always trying to prevent them. She hates to hear other rats fighting, and is a very peaceful rat who is always there to break up fights or stop them before they even start. She is always willing to help resolve problems between rats as well as she can.
Calm. Memoria is a calm rat, who never gets overly excited or hyper. She only ever becomes overly excited or hyper if she eats too much sweet food.
Loveable. With those sweet, blind blue eyes, adorable markings, and kind smile, who wouldn't love Memoria? The only not loveable thing about Memoria is she sometimes likes to chew on the furniture, but nobody is perfect.
Quirks:
Memoria has a talent for painting, even though she's blind. Sometimes she uses her paws, sometimes she puts a paintbrush in her mouth, and sometimes she uses her tail! Memoria and Pacana paint together often. They walk on a piece of paper (or on the floor!) with their paws covered in paint.
A bead hoarder. Lost a bead from a shirt or necklace? Look for Memoria! She loves beads, and will "borrow" buttons for people. Even though she can't see them, Memoria knows it's a bead by feeling it with her paws. Once she finds a bead, she will take it back to her cage, sometimes with the help of Pacana, and store it in the corner with the rest of the beads.
Gingersnap lover. Memoria loves fresh gingersnaps. Give her a piece of gingersnap, and she's you're friend for life! well, after you give her a few more pieces of gingersnap!
Memoria loves to take naps in the sunlight with Pacana. They cuddle up together in a patch of sunlight and take a nap. When they wake up, they usually paint, or look for lost buttons.
What do you plan on doing with your rat?
She would be a good friend to Pacana, and I would draw her and write stories and lots of other stuff like that. If I won her, she would not become a forgotten memory or be ignored. I have started making a special section in my character thread for Pacana, and I would do the same for this girl. I am not the best at RPing, so I probably wouldn't enter her in an RP, but maybe I would someday when I get a little better at RPing. I would order art of her, draw her tons (mostly traditional, since I am terrible at drawing rats digitally XD) and love her, of course.

Story:
Memoria skidded across the floor, Pacana close behind her. "Can't catch me!" Memoria said. "Don't bet on it!" Pacana laughed. Memoria and Pacana were playing tag, not one of Memoria's favorite games to play, but it was still fun. Memoria laughed and and headed into the kitchen. "Careful, Memoria." Memoria's and Pacana's owner said, watching as Memoria skidded into the kitchen. "How about you two paint for a while?" Memoria's and Pacana's owner suggested, putting a piece of paper on the floor and putting out the paints. Memoria smothered her paws in paint and skipped across the paper, leaving a trail of paint behind her. Pacana did the same. "What did we make?" Memoria asked. "A trail of paw prints!" Pacana laughed. Memoria washed her paws and then covered them again in paint. This time, she made a perfect heart made out of paw prints. "It's gorgeous!" Pacana said. Pacana was always supporting Memoria, in her art, ideas, and other stuff. She even convinced Pacana to try a piece of gingersnap once, not one of Pacana's favorite foods. Memoria covered her tail in paint and made a big blue stripe on the paper. Pacana made a bunch of little green stripes.
After they had painted for a while, Memoria's and Pacana's owner cleaned them up and put them in there cage for a while. Pacana licked her honey-covered paw and Memoria chewed on a piece of gingersnap while feeling one of her beads with her front paws. "Is this the blue one?" She asked Pacana. "Yep." Pacana answered, giving her paw a lick and then dipping it in more honey. "So delicious..." She sighed happily. "Gingersnaps are, too. So... so gingery." Memoria laughed.
Later that day, After Memoria's and Pacana's owner had flicked on Pacana's night light and gone to bed, and after Pacana had fallen asleep, Memoria lay awake for a while, listening to the crickets chirping outside and thinking about what she and and Pacana would do the next day.
