I noticed I haven't quite done a Flent for awhile... so I decided to post a new one up! Good luck winning them! I am quite attached to this design.

Ashiqa was born an all black flent, without any special markings. She was teased by her brother constantly, who had marvelous ice blue swirls and symbols. Her heart was sad, but she did not dwell on it much, until one day when she was 7 she overheard her mother talking to herself, wondering why she had to have such a plain and boring daughter. Her heart broke, and ran away from the den they lived in. The next morning, while she was drinking from a pool, she realized that her wings and a light tad of red on them. Thinking she was just imagining things, she ignored it, and continued on. But every time after that, when any Flent told her she was plain or ugly, too simple or little, more red markings would grow onto her pelt. Soon she had many beautiful red swirls, and no one teased her after that. She was truly proud of her markings, but in her heart she knew that true beauty was on the inside.

Loving
Even though many a Flent have broken her heart, she has never hated anyone for it. She is very friendly and nice, not blaming anyone for their rudeness. She helps any Flent in need. She is still looking for the right male for her though. She won't mate with anyone not fit to her standers.
Humorous
She is quite the joi]ker, always making quirks about something. Along with her humor comes an easygoing flow, keeping a funny perspective on everything. She is easily amused, and loves to laugh.
She is also kind, soft hearted, not very motivated, and smart.

Broken she runs
away from the hate
far from the world
no hope for mate

Drinking from a pool
to her surprise
markings appear
right before her eyes

filled with new hope
and a new bright way
she carries along
no longer fears the day

just a little poem....nothing much.

Reason to apply for this flent: Let's see, her markings are beautiful, and really stand out. She's nothing like the other Flent, her pelt is simple, but elegant. I also have a thing for black/red combos. I really hope to get her. Thank you for your consideration.

On one glorious day a miracle happened, a female fawn was born to two very proud Flent parents. But, this fawn was a bit different, she was born with fur black as night and with no markings. The parents of the fawn were in shock and were too embarrassed to show the others their new fawn, so they kept her hidden away from the others. Even as she became older she was hidden away, for her markings hadn't appeared yet. One day she went to her parents and asked them a question that had been weighting on her mind. "Mama, Papa........ Why won't you let me play outside the den." she asked them. Her parents looked do one another for a moment with pained looks in their eyes. "It's because you are different, and we don't want other to tease you or hurt your feelings." her mother spoke in a kind tone. "I don't care I want to go out and play." she told them. Without waiting for a reply from her parents she darted from the den. "Nox!" her parents called offer her, before going after her. Nox stopped just outside the den and took in a deep breath, it smelt wonderful and the sun felt great on her pelt.

"It's beautiful!" she said happily to her parents. Her parents gave a defeated sigh knowing they couldn't keep her hidden any longer. "It is quite beautiful." they spoke in unison. "What do you say to a walk?" her father asked. "That would be great!" Nox said happily. As the three went on their walk they received strange looks from others, Nox's parents tried to ignore them but it was quite difficult. Then the other fawns noticed Nox and began to shout horrible thongs at her, tears fame to her eyes and the other downs continued to shout names at her and laugh. Nox and her father went back to the den and Nox cried into her mother pelt. "Why am I so different and why to the others tease me about it?" she cried. "I'm not sure why darling, it's how you were born. As for the others teasing you, they don't know how to be nice to someone who's special." she said softly.

Some time passed and Nox left her den to get a drink, as she drank she thought about the day she was made fun of and had an idea. She went around to all those who teased her and told them she forgave them for how they treated her,little did she know that a change was taking place. Once she had visited everyone she went back to the stream, and was surprised by what she saw on the waters surface. Nox now had red swirl like markings and red on her wings, she finally got her markings and she couldn't be happier about them. Jumping upon her paws she ran to her parents. "Mama, Papa! Come out and look!" she called to them happily. Their eyes went wide when they saw her, and they came together in a big hug and nuzzled each other.

Kind and caring to those she knows, standoffish to those she doesn't know, loyal, respectful, generous and, playful at times, can even be a daydreamer at times.

~ Art or Poem:
Sweet little butterfly, how you flutter around so happily.
What is it that makes you so happy?
Is it your freedom or the warm sunny day or both?
I can't help wonder what causes you to have such joy.
But still I watch you flutter on your way enjoying every minute of the beautiful day.

~ Reason to Apply for this Flent:
It's beautiful and I love the design on its black fur. It also seems to be calling to me.

winner is nox! Sorry if the ideas seemed similar but i read them both and lukina's is still different to an extent. She also has more pros and cons to her personality and it seems more realistic that way c:
