Username: The Jøker
Pets Name: Khorel
Gender: Male
Personality: Khorel is the very embodiment of hate and pain. He was sworn by Satan to bear the burden of a thousand souls, and now he carries this close to his heart. He is very quiet and very cold towards others. Khorel is forced to feel constant pain, therefor he often chooses to be alone, should the pain become to much for him.
Khorel wasn't always the embodiment of hate and pain for a thousand souls, and he often looks back on those times, making him often appear not all there. Khorel is very loyal but is also a compulsive liar, so no one is all that sure where he stands on matters.
Stories? Art? (Optional, but may increase your chances): Khorel walked slowly to the palace of The Prince of Darkness. Satan had summoned him the day before, but as the summoning did not request his immediate presence, Khorel chose to walk all the way from The Third Outer Circle, to the innermost circle, where Satan's unholy palace lay.
The Dark spires of the palace rose threatening to touch the blood red sky. The wrought iron gate in front, though it served no purpose as it was always open, seemed to glare threateningly at all who passed by. Khorel didn't care, however, and he strode through the gate with confident steps.
Standing in front of the main doors to Satan's palace were two hellhounds, but they took no notice of Khorel. Not that Khorel really cared, though. He was in no mood to speak to his only semi-sentient cousins. Walking somewhat hurriedly now through the ebon walls of The Palace, Khorel slowed his steps as he reached the Throne Room. The door was left ajar, but in a fashion that told Khorel it was supposed to be shut. Rather than considering his options, Khorel strode through.
Satan could change his appearance depending on how he was feeling. If he was feeling nostalgic, he would turn into an fallen angel, if he was feeling angry, he would turn into a dragon, if he was feeling happy, he would turn into a demon, but if he was worried, he would take the form of a human. That was Khorel's first clue that something was off. Satan looked like a man in his mid 20s, black hair falling in front of red eyes, and a snake tattoo running down his neck. Khorel addressed Satan calmly.
"My lord, how may I aid thee?" Khorel growled out.
"Khorel," Satan regarded Khorel with a quick nod of his head, "I assume you heard of the genocide on earth?"
Khorel nodded gravely, "One thousand people, my lord. They are all in the Third Outer Circle now."
Satan nodded again, 'Well, I spoke with Gabriel. These people are actually supposed to be in heaven, but their pain and hatred is keeping them here in Hell. In order for them to rise to heaven, they need someone to remove their pain and hatred.....that's where you come in."
Khorel's eyes widened. He had heard about this type of transfer before, but it was supposedly very dangerous. The 'victim' was forced to bear all the pain, both physical and emotional, and all the hatred, both of others and themselves, of a certain set of people, in order for them to rise to heaven. Technically, as these people did nothing wrong, they were supposed to be in heaven, but the "Have and Hurt", as Asmodeous so humorously put it, was keeping them here.
"Would you, Khorel, be willing to take this on? To let the other's rise?" Satan asked, his voice was thick with worry. If Khorel refused, Satan was at a loss with what to do.
Slowly, Khorel looked up, "I accept, My lord."
Satan nodded and summoned a guard to grab The Orb. The Orb was an interesting little shiny stone that could transfer certain sins over to other spirits or demons. In short, The Orb was basically a Ley Line for sins. The Orb glowed with dark power as it touched Satan's clawed fingers. Sometime during the wait for The Orb, Satan had shifted from a human to a demon.
Raising The Orb, Satan muttered a few words in Latin, and a black and red bolt of energy struck Khorel to the ground. Satan continued the incantation while Khorel was slowly being ripped away. The demon could feel parts of his body being torn at. The torment felt as though it lasted an hour.
When the transfer was done, Khorel stood slowly, certain parts of his body aching from the transfer. Khorel limped towards Satan, bowing low. His lips were curled back into a growl. Satan's face was grave.
"I am so sorry, Khorel," Satan whispered, having turned back into a human at some point through the transfer.
"My good lord's forgiveness is unnecessary," Khorel snapped angrily. Satan winced.
"Go. Gabriel will come within the day to collect the souls, and I want you there for it," Satan said, pointing at the door. Khorel bowed low, then exited.
And it was known throughout hell that the Daemonia Socium, Khorel of the Third Outer Circle, had made the ultimate sacrifice.
