I could hear the faint trembling of paw steps on the fall ground. It was morning, te crispy air chilly. I heard the animal before I saw it, but when I did, it aught my heart. It appeared to be sad, and I came up cautiously. It tries to shrink away, but I petted it. I suppose it accepted me, and licked me.
