Name:
Shi (Might change to Gaia, Ping, Qing, or Chen)
Chinese meaning for "time", "real, honest", or "history".
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Shy, timid, soft-spoken, passive
To see this marble cat in front of a large crowd, speaking openly about her ideals would be quite the rare sight indeed. Shi isn't known for being a social being, preferring a nice, leisurely stroll through the woods than a large, rambunctious gathering with a mass of others. If that were the case, or if she were forced into a situation like that, this marble cat's tiny, easily frightened heart would certainly give out! The trees are where this shy female is found, specifically in the small cracks and crevices in the bark that Shi can easily fly in and out of.
Public speaking? That isn't one of Shi's preferred activities. She isn't one to speak loudly, especially in front of others. Her voice is nothing more than a little squeak, sometimes hardly even audible to even the most sensitive of ears. Shi rarely shares her opinions, and she would never think about pressing her own opinions and beliefs onto another animal. Raising your voice to make yourself sound superior? Shi has never performed that before, and she would never think of such a thing.
In order to befriend Shi, you must have an open heart and a soft voice that doesn't indicate a harsh tone or anything. If you use this technique, then you will immediately earn the loving, gentle heart of Shi in a matter of days. Any other technique, and the outcomes can't be promising.
Sympathetic, empathetic, sincere
Shi couldn't imagine any creature being unsympathetic or unempathetic. It's just outrageous to her! Friends will tell Shi their stories of love, hate, sadness, anything that they can think of, and Shi will just nod and listen with all of her heart. Due to her quiet and introverted nature, there's a high chance that Shi hasn't experienced what her friends have experienced, but she still feels the pain in her heart just as her friends would feel. If, by any wild chance, Shi has experienced the same problem as the creature who is talking to her, she will always give her advice.
Caretaker, motherly-nature
Despite never having children of her own, Shi has a natural, instinctive motherly-nature that goes out to just about any creature, even those outside of her normal group. Despite her shyness, Shi can't pass by a wounded stranger without stopping to ask if they're okay and seeing if there is anything that she can do for them. Young marble cats can find shelter from the weather if they just find Shi and ask her nicely, or they can get tips of how to survive the harsh life of a marble cat without getting too scratched up. Despite her kind and motherly-nature, Shi isn't that much interested in having children, since she always doubts that there will never be a male interested enough in taking her as a mate.
Curious, adventurous
Trees, flowers, weather, the sky--everything makes Shi rage with curiosity. She wants to know just about everything in the world, especially creatures that are outside of her species. Humans are specifically one of those things that make Shi curious; they just are so mysterious to her! Of course, she would never want to be captured by a human, having known other marble cats that were captured by humans that never return.
With massive, never ending curiosity comes the need for adventure. Adventure can be found just around any corner for this adventurous female, and she can never wait for her next big adventure. Most of the time, Shi takes these adventures alone, allowing herself to take mental notes for herself without being distracted by socializing with others. The only time that any others go along with Shi is if they are her close friends and are interested with what's looking for or are looking for a way to distract themselves.
Likes:
The woods
The woods is easily Shi's most favourite thing in the entire world--next to citrus and apple blossoms, of course. Like most animals, Shi is picky about the woods where she lives. It can't be too dark, it can't be too dense, and it can't be heavily vegetated. Light has to be shining through, no matter what.
Spring
Spring time, the time when all the blossoms are blooming, and the nectar is at its sweetest. Shi has a tendency to hide in the flowers, and watch as newborns are raised by their parents.
Meadows
Wide, open meadows are one of Shi's favourite places to be, especially when there is a large quantity of wildflowers growing. Secluded, undiscovered meadows in the middle of a forest are even better, as she feels that no animal would find her.
Citrus and apple blossoms
Even though they come only once a year, citrus and apple blossoms are two of Shi's favourite treats. She loves the sweet nectar that they offer.
Humans
Humans are absolutely fascinating to Shi. She enjoys watching their habits, especially the younger, more playful ones. Shi even goes to a lonely little cabin in the woods she lives in just to get a look at their habitat and shelter.
Dislikes:
Large crowds
Large crowds are never an enjoyable thing for Shi, especially when it's the middle of the mating season. Shi often tries to find herself a distant, quiet place to enjoy herself without having to worry about others.
Public speaking
Stuttering and squeaking, Shi basically is a buffoon when it comes to public speaking. This is one of the main reasons why she rarely speaks in front of large masses.
Dark/dense forests
Due to her phobia of darkness, Shi doesn't enjoy being in dark, dense forests. She would rather be in a lightly wooded, well-lit forest where she can easily navigate.
Bears
Once upon on a time, Shi met a bear. It roared. From that point on, Shi was absolutely terrified of bears. Actually, that's not the true story. No marble cat knows why Shi is absolutely terrified of bears; she just is.
Storms
Storms definitely is on the top of Shi's things to fear--next to bears, of course. Just the distant roll of thunder, no matter how far it is, can easily spook this marble cat.
What I intend to use Shi for:
My main intention, since I can't draw to save my life, would be to use Shi as a side character for my stories. If the role-play thread is made, I would most likely use her on that thread. Also, she would be open for breeding.

Sent it.
