Personality: Sweet, Kind, Understanding, Helpful, Hopeful, Determined, Vengeful, Loving, Affectionate, Easily angered, sometimes negative, strong, selfless.
Likes/Dislikes: Kifo dislikes when others are selfish and uncaring. He was raised to be as well-mannered and kind as possible, and rudeness sets his anger off. Kifo loves to adventure. From the time he was a kitten he would explore the vast spaces of his homelands.
Back Story: When Kifo was born, his mother was mauled by another Marble cat. Kifo's uncle, Lecka, was able to steal him away from the scene and save his life. Kifo grew up in a vast forest known as the Nene forest. There, Lecka taught him all the essentials that he would need to survive and be happy. However, one evening while Kifo was hunting for dinner, a tragedy occurred... A scream rattled through the trees and Kifo released a squealing mouse from beneath his foot. The creature scurried away into the brush while the cat stood frozen.
"Uncle," he murmured. Another screech pierced the air and Kifo was running at full tilt through the brush.
"Uncle! Uncle!" He shouted over and over. No reply. He burst through bramble thicket that protected his den; a deep, raspy voice greeted him.
"Why, hello there young one. It is nice to finally meet you. After all, your mother's death was not as satisfying as yours will be." A dark cat whose eyes were as red as fire emerged from Lecka's den. His legs were long and lean and his wings shimmered like fresh blood in the moonlight. Kifo stiffened. This cat was twice his size and ten times as strong. His lithe, certain movements told the young tom to go no further.
"Who are you?" Kifo asked hesitantly. The tomcat's red eyes smiled menacingly.
"An old friend that was betrayed. An old friend that wants vengeance.." Kifo turned and darted toward the hole through which he had entered. Beneath the ambiance of crunching twigs and crumbling leaves and the crickets singing in the bush, Kifo heard a dark cackle that rose the hair on his spine. Without a glance back, he ran on.
"When one tries to master something, it ends in either success or failure. But it is in the attempt itself where you find the true value. Believe in your own power and walk your own path." ~Oki
