Why you named him this: Well, cloud nines supposed to be this great place filled with happiness and everything there is supposed to be perfect and amazing and just how you wanted it. Well thats what I saw when I first laid eyes on him. I absolutely L.O.V.E palominos and appaloosas and when I saw him.... 'WOW!' Is all i could say. I love how light and dreamy he looks and the contrast of the tan against the white on his back and (please excuse this next part) his rear end. XD He looks so proud and regal yet seems to have a gentle side to him. He also looks like a 'lady's man.' hehe. i hate to say it, but now I'm hooked on these guys because of him. He'll be my first and I might as well go with such a beautiful stud as my first.

Why you named him this: I've sat here for I dunno how long, trying to come up with a good name for this stallion. I wanted to keep it storm related somehow, but his coloration made that hard. However, I soon decided he reminded me of a dust storm, so I started thinking in that direction. I knew I didn't want to name him Haboob (arabic for strong wind), simply because it sounds funny to me, but I did want to go in that direction. So I decided to name him something that had to do with winds, which are one of the main causes of dust storms. So I named him Chinook.
