This is the custom order for Commander Shepard. She requested a Paragade Rune after the very popular game Mass Effect. I made sure to give her as much care and treatment when blending her colors and making the highlights perfect so I hope she like it.
The Story of the Rune Who Makes Peace.

"I suppose it was my silence that kept us-- myself and my three Runes-- hidden for so long. Yes, we saw the injustice going on, the attacks against innocent citizens and their Rune companions that often resulted in death... but we kept silent. We hid, we made ourselves inconspicuous and simply tried to shut out the horrors around us. After all, what could we-- what could I-- do? I loathed fighting, I preferred to think of myself as the paragon of keeping peace. Compromise is the answer, compromise and peaceful negotiation; violence never had a place in such matters.
I was returning to my home one evening when I heard a commotion. What did I spy, but a large Rune dragon fighting against a man? The Rune was holding its own quite well, but the man was larger and had a knife with him; the dragon already had several wounds. I grimaced at the sight, but was about to turn and find a different path home, not wanting to get involved... but then, it looked at me. Glared at me, more like it; and before I knew what I was doing, I rushed the man and managed to knock him off balance so he dropped the knife. The Rune growled and lashed out, raking its talons across his leg. The man fled after that, and once he was gone, the Rune collapsed. I couldn't just leave the poor thing to die on the street, so I picked it up as best as I could (not an easy feat, the dragon was at easily three feet tall and just as long; longer with the tail) and took it home.
Since then, she has healed up nicely, and shows just as much spirit as the day I found her in that alley. She has a rather... formidable presence too, I'm not sure how best to explain it. Sometimes when she's trying to get at something, she gives this look that is so very charming that one can't help but try to give what she wants; other times, she lets out a harsh growl and becomes so intimidating, you don't want to know what would happen if she didn't get her way. Either way, this Rune-- who I have decided to call Adrian-- never hesitates when it comes to her desires, and I've decided that I shouldn't either. Sometimes peace cannot come simply from words; and while the actions of a renegade-- rejecting what is wrong and fighting for what is right-- may be necessary at times, there must be a balance between the two to get the desired results. This Rune seems to embody that balance, and thanks to her influence, I no longer allow myself to sit idly by while the world crumbles around me."
