Why do you want to adopt?: Well, I've always been interested in rats. I've wanted one as a pet for a few years now, but my mom hates them with a passion. Apparently they smell, and they are mean. So I've been pretty bummed about that, she let me get a lizard instead, but I don't really think it's the same. You can hold rats, pet them, feed them, etc. Their like best friends. So that's why I'm going for one that can be a character instead. This way it won't gross my mom out, and instead of feeding him, I can just make and buy art for him. I also quite like how simple he is, and the colors go very well together <3
Rat Name: Balthasar (After my favorite character in Romeo and Juliet.)
Personality: Balth isn't very adventurous, nor does he like new things. He's wary of people, and the only thing he really trusts is cheese, but he can't trust that to the fullest, either. There's mold and poison to worry about. Balth is a finicky, overly worried rat and doesn't enjoy going to unfamiliar places, or being fed unfamiliar foods. He likes to stick to schedule, and will not accept any changes to whatever is going on with him. Say you tried to feed him some cheese, but unfortunately it's swiss instead of cheddar, he won't go near the stuff, and will not come out of hiding until hours later, when he's sure it's safe.

Quirks: Collecting cheese-shaped bells and nibbling nutella covered popcorn. He also likes collecting his friends whiskers. (His friend who is a cat. Love is blind ;-;<3)
What do you plan on doing with your rat? Well, I plan on making him one of my mainly used characters. I'll order art of him, make art of him, I may even make him the mascot of my adoptables thread I have. I already have a companion set up for him, so lots of couple art, and he'll probably be featured in my signature quite a bit. I think if there's a similar CS pet, I'll start a hoard of them as well. I quite like him . c:
If you feel you can no longer care for your Rat, will you return it here to find a new home?: Yes of course. The one thing I really think bout is if I can provide a proper home for all of my characters. I get really emotionally attached, and if I feel like I'm not taking well enough care of not only him, but all of my characters, then I will do what's best and find them new homes. So yes, I will of course.
