~Information behind Dormy's name~

The reason I picked the name Dormy is due to how she somewhat reminded me of Dormouse from this game called "Alice madness returns." Even though the Dormouse of the game is a male and is somewhat a antagonist of the game, he was still cute. Also due to Dormy's attitude of being "Appears to hold herself in a higher regard than the other rats" made it easy for me to imagine her announcing to the other rats one of my favorite quotes of the "Alice madness returns" game.

A good worker is a live worker. Paid to live - and work! A bad worker is a dead worker; and vice-versa. Don't be a bad worker; bad workers are slaves, and dead. Payday for good workers has been postponed indefinitely. Payday for bad workers is cancelled!

Also her Dutch markings making her look fancy and strangely noble in my eyes kinda makes it easy for me to imagine her pull off that quote from the game. Dormy also has ruby eyes like the Dormouse which I find to be awesome.

~Reason why I picked Dormy~

She is cute, her different ears where what drawn me to her. Not to mention how other people seemed to look over her to go to the other rats which seemed to make me feel sad for her. My sadness was only towards how she will not be able to find a loving home or end up staying in the shop forever without ever experiencing how being with another person besides Sketchy feels like. So I put together my time and effort when I saw I still have time and instead of working more on first rat I applied for seeing that he would have a good home anyway without me, I worked on Dormy to give her a chance outside the shop life. I also liked how her eyes were dark and how her markings were speckles out around the edges instead of being smooth edged markings. I also liked her personality of being "Appears to hold herself in a higher regard than the other rats." That also helped me pick out her name, so in all I'm a really happy owner of Dormy. I'm also sure Dormy will get along great with my other rat Robert Allen. Also I can just imagine Dormy in some sort of fancy dress or some type of Victorian style dress. So that's about it on why I picked Dormy.

*~*Sleepover at Ravens*~*

Raven grins, clearly pleased with herself at the site of her cage. She spent a good amount of time rearranging everything, hiding her prized bug collection which at times seemed to go missing while she slept, and setting up two comfy nests. Now she had to wait for her new friend, Dormy. Raven knew it was Dormy's first sleepover so she wanted everything to go smoothly and according to plan. She was sure to make sure the nest was facing the television left on by her owner, well both her and Dormy's owner. It was strange how they had separated cages but Raven was not complaining, besides not many rats would enjoy having the shells of insects watch them in their sleep. Not to mention that Dormy's cage most likely was filled with gears and strange pieces of machinery. Raven turns her attention to the television, the first movie just started. Like the rest of the movies that were yet to show it was a horror movie playing. One of the songs started to play,

Industrialization has crippled the globe

*Hmmm...not bad,* Raven thought as she listened closely to the song while feeling bad for the girl in that part of the song. From behind her an amused voice says, "I did not know you liked operas Raven." Raven grins widely, turning around to see the white gray marked rat with amusement shining in her ruby eyes. "So you finally showed up Dormy, I was starting to fear you wouldn't show," Raven said with an excited gleam in her shiny bluish black eyes. Dormy paws over to one of the nests, making herself comfortable on the straw like substance. She smiles and says to her friend who decided to claim the second nest, "Well I couldn't miss my very first sleepover with a best friend now could I? That would just be rude if I did." Raven giggles and says to Dormy, "Well if your hungry I got got kettle corn and marshmallows, they tastes really good and would make a great snack while watching these movies and then we can play truth or dare and have fun till midnight!" Dormy laughs softly and says, "That is if I don't end up falling asleep on you and these human movies are amusing." Raven nods in agreement and says with excitement, "If you think Repo the Genetic Opera is amusing wait till you see the rest of this marathon! It will knock your socks off!" Dormy laughs and comments, "I'm not wearing any socks!" Raven just sticks out her tongue at the red eyed rat then relaxes, enjoying her time with her best friend. Both rats had a long night ahead of them full of fun and games, the night was only beginning.
