Rat Name:
Bai Yun
Personality:
Bai is a very sweet rat, she loves people, and anything else that is able to pay attention to her. She loves to be the center of attention, and will often chirp and chatter to get you're attention. She can be taken as naive, but I would say more bold than anything. She's constantly escaping, climbing, and investigating things. She doesn't fear anything, unless it scares her. She's rather active, and loves to try to do tricks. She's actually become diurnal more so than nocturnal, due to trying to be up when everyone else is. She's always up for anything, and barely anything slows her down. With other rats, she tends to not so much be dominant, but is constantly fighting them for attention. She seems to favor males over females, and even has a certain infatuation with human men.
Quirks:
.Will do anything for sunflower seeds
.Is infatuated with human men
.Likes to climb upside-down on the cage bars
.Mostly diurnal
Bai Yun sat in her cage by the window, the warn sun beating down on her soft, dark brown, fur. She loved the feeling of the sun on her fur, it made her feel so warm. Her train of thought was interrupted as a black form passed in front of the window. Her ears perked up and her eyes brightened, "Jwi!" It turned out to only be a bird passing by the window, she settled down, and laid down. "Hmph, this is getting boring."
She ran down the ramps of her cage, jumping onto the platforms, shaking the cage. She slipped through the little opening in the cage, purposely left for her to come and go. She was bored since Ceacilia was off doing other things, and Jwi hadn't been over in days, she was feeling lonely.
Bai wriggled through the opening in the door and found her way outside. she trotted over to the flower bed by the edge of her house, where she loved to bask in the sweet scent of the flowers, and watch the bugs buzz, flitter, and flutter by. She loved it there. She found her way into her shallow burrow she has made to keep cool in the heat of the day, she had everything there, but it never seemed completed. It was her little place, but she was always alone there, never anyone to play with.
She heard the bushes rustle loudly as a white rabbit burst through the bushes, unaware of where he was going. Bai huddled down in her hole afraid the rabbit would crush her. Her little heart was beating and she couldn't help but breath hard. The rabbit turned around and looked at her little figure. He lowered his head and sniffed her for seemingly forever.
The rabbit smiled, "Hi! I'm Tokki! What's your name? Why do you look so scared? Did I do something wrong?" Bai stuck her head out slightly, "Um, hi Tokki. I'm Bai Yun, and you scared me when you almost crushed me." Tokki frowned, "I'm sorry Bai Yun, I didn't mean to scare you. I thought I saw something cool over here, so I rushed over to see what it was. I think it was a flower, or maybe a bug, I dunno, but it looked fun. Wanna go check it out with me?" Bai smiled, "Sure! It sounds fun. Can I ride around on your back!?"
Tokki leaned down and smiled, "Sure, just be sure you hang on." Bai scrambled onto his back, trying not to get her claws dug too far into his back. Bia settled down slight, "Wow Tokki, your fur is really soft and fluffy!" Tokki rose and turned his head to her, "Thanks!".
Tokki bounded off in the direction of the object he had seen, trying not to knock the little rat off his back, but at the same time too excited to go go slow. Bai crouched close to his back, trying not to fall off.
Tokki screeched to a halt, digging his front paws as far into the dirt as he possibly could. Bai dug her face into his face, still trying not to fall.
He looked up excitedly, smiling, "Here! This is it! This is the thing I was looking for."
