Ratlet Number:
I would like to apply for ratlet number 2 please
Why do you want to adopt?
I think it was time I got myself a rat character. I used to have pet rats in real life and they are really great animals. This little fellow has caught my eye and is very adorable.
Rat Name:
I think I would call him Oreo. Oreo you say? Because Oreo cookies are actually brown and white, not black and white. I think the name suits him quite well.
Personality:
Oreo is generally quite sweet and loving. He likes to lie on his back and have his tummy tickled, sitting on people he who's shoulders, treats, apples, chocolate, sun flower seeds, his fuzzy hammock and his little rubber dolphin. He dislikes the heat as he over heats very easily, he hates peas and beans, the smell of disinfectant, getting his vaccinations and the vet in general, not being allowed a treat, when he has to go with out his hammock because it is being washed and going in the car any where. He is rather shy around people he doesn't know and takes a while to get used to them. He also shies away from rats he doesn't know and needs to be introduced slowly. He is terrified of cats except his best friend who happens to be a cat. He will do almost anything to get his paws on a sunflower seed or any treat really. To those he knows, he is very friendly and sweet and can be quite silly at times.
Quirks:
Oreo's little quirks are that he likes to hoard the shells of the sun flower seeds he eats. He hides them in a little corner of his nest and gets quite upset when any go missing. He likes to sleep spread out on his back and spends probably and unhealthy amount of his time snuggled in his hammock. He has a rubber dolphin bath toys he refuses to go any where with out and with screech until he gets to take it.
What do you plan on doing with your rat?
Oreo will be used as a character to make art of, I will order art of him and he will be one of my fursona's little buddy.
If you feel you can no longer care for your Rat, will you return it here to find a new home?
If I ever feel that I can no longer take care of Oreo, I promise I will return him to the Chitter Squeek Rattery to find a loving new home that will be able to care for him.

A Story for Oreo:
This is when Oreo is going to his new home
Oreo stretched as he climbed out of the nest in his cage. Today was the big day his new home would be chosen.
He waited for a little bit for his breakfast and some yummy apple and settled down to eat.
Oreo blinked as his 'mum' Nadja gave him one last wash over.
Nadja looked forward to the days her little ratlets would go to their new homes and didn't let any of them off with out a thouraugh wash.
Oreo watched the breeder Sketchy as they read over the forms time after time to make sure each ratlet would go to the perfect home.
Oreo couldn't wait to see what his new owner would be like.
He dreamt of his own cage where he could do what ever he wanted and his new friends that he would meet.
Later in the day, Oreo watched from the cage as Sketchy announced the winners on the Chitter Squeek Rattery page.
The next day, one by one the owners came to pick up there new little ratlets.
Soon Oreo's new owner Silverlilly was there to pick him up.
"Hey little Oreo. I want you to meet your new room mates." Silverlilly greeted the shy little Oreo.
A grey black and white rat popped it's head out from a bag Silverlilly was carrying and a black and tan rat sat apon her shoulder.
Oreo shyed away from them and Silverlilly proceded to pick up the nervous little rat and take him to his new home.
When he got into his new cage...
Could it be? No way! It is!
Oreo had his own little hammock and water bottle and every thing!
He spent ages playing on all his new toys.
THE END
