Why couldn't this pup be taken care of?;Lavandula's life started out like any other, born to loving parents, happy to have a little bundle of joy in their lives to share their love with. As a tiny pup, her parents were delighted by the sweet scent her pain emitted, a faint scent like flowers, which gave her her name. As she grew that scent would become stronger whenever she was upset, and the stronger scent brought with it other effects. First it would just make those around her drowsy. If she became more upset, the scent would become stronger, and it those around would start to fall asleep. Her parents worried about what the pup might get into if she put them both to sleep, but it never seemed like such a terrible problem, not at first.
Then one day another pup ruined a painting she was making, which in turn made Lavandula incredibly upset. The scent emitted by her paint became overpowering, and the pup that had ruined her painting fell into a coma that lasted several days. Though the pup would eventually awaken, it wouldn't be until after Lavandula's frightened parents abandoned her in the mountains one night while she slept, far away from civilization, so she couldn't hurt anyone else. They cried at the loss, they loved their pup, but they didn't know what else they could do. They couldn't let the same thing happen to anyone else. When Lavandula woke, she was all alone, and her scent pervaded the area in her fear and sorrow, birds dropping from the sky as it affected them.
