brief personality after a rough patch, she became a pessimistic, easily seeing the negative. she never really can see the bright side; however, she's trying to become what she used to be by being a hard worker and learning about life. overall, she is still around a pessimistic and can rarely see the good anymore, but through hard work and dedication, she plans on changing that.
brief history her family is high ranking with an official duty passed on through the family. she was once on top of the hierarchy, below the rulers. she was destined to be the historian of the kingdom to keep everything in line for the perfect future. nova kept everything on check to have her own perfect and bright future. however, a faulty pod took that away after crash landing in hostile territory.
where is she currently
the pod was thrust off of the path towards the outer sectors of the once moon colony but was know a kingdom after a rebellion. panic ensued as warning lights flashed in her vision and the cruel blue and green planet earth coming in the view of the main window. her home on the moon was flying away in the back window and tears filled her vision as she saw what she fought for so long ago being free from a dangerous planet. she would be called a traitor if she landed in the wrong countries. her pelt would be sure to give her away after years of her home being away and gaining brightly colored pelts, then to be among more earthy tones would sure give her away.
she tried to get through the tears and work to solve the problems. pushing a few buttons here and there. her eyes and paws worked in unison as she tried to solve it. the red alarms wouldn’t stop then she just shut down and just gave up. the pressure was too much for her to bear. eventually, she just let it come to her, thought of death on an unknown planet which was cruel from what the elders told her. she sent out a distress call and told the communication branch one thing. “earth is in view. i am unable to control this pod and turn it around to the moon. this is goodbye.” tears flew down her face and accepted her fate. the fate of death would be upon her.
time passed slowly as the tears come down her face. the pod was heating up entering the atmosphere of the earth. the heat became unbearable and caused her to pass out. her eyes fluttered open a few times to see a rose bed below the pod, then her pod crashing into it and being destroyed in the crash as it exploded. by the final time she came to, she felt paws gently grab her and pull her out from the crash site.
her eyes fluttered open with a dim light being hovering above her. she felt her breath becoming sharper, and her senses came back to normal strength soon. her ears soon picked up on the conversation in the room. “faust, how long would you say she should be out?” a diplomatic voice asked with a hint of royal flare.
the voice who she linked with the name faust spoke in a calm and collected tone. “i feel as if should be any time now. look, she’s starting get back into consciousness. welcome back.” a black and gold hinted figure hovered above her. a warm glow came from this figure in certain spots and a smile. “now, we just going rise you up a bit and ask you some questions.”
she nodded her head in a reply and felt a little light headed as she sat up. she saw a kalon before her wearing flowers and a crown. alarms went off in her mind as she made a connection to the kingdom of flowers, one of the countries in the old moon colony treaty. she knew that this kingdom wasn’t really welcoming to rebels from the ex moon colony. “who are you? a spy?”
she stare at the queen in disbelief as she just got up, and she didn’t budge besides a whimper. it easily became something that escalated it. the queen refused that answer and demanded a proper answer. “answer me, you are under my domain and you need to answer me, rebel.”
“your majesty, please don’t. she just has awaken and doesn’t know where she even is,” faust replied to the demand. the queen flashed faust a look and cause the kalon to back down quickly.
“i have a right to know about this rebel,” the queen said. “call in chilali and helena, faust. i can’t deal with her as i have much more to do.” the queen shot up and glared her down and left with faust quickly doing what she wished. as quickly as the queen’s will was done, her two advisors chilali and helena have arrived in the room. “faust solara, her majesty wishes for this kalon to write down her information and then send her off to somewhere else besides here,” chilali said as he delivered the orders from the queen.
“what? she can’t have anywhere to go and not even fully healed. please, chilali, ask your family if anyone can take her in for a bit. you have such a large family,” faust begged. she stared at the trio of them arguing for a bit then he gave in and said, “fine, don’t expect much.”
“thank you,” faust said as she let out a sigh of relief. faust handed her a piece of paper to fill out. “sorry, but you have to fill this out real quick before you can do anything else.” after sometime and finished the form, chilali came back and whispered something while taking the paper from faust. faust’s eyes lit up and nodded happily. chilali motioned towards her and made some other gestures. “nova evelyn... well, you certainly are living up to your name meaning,” chilali said while looking at the paper.
days have past, and the queen forced her out of the kingdom to one of chilali’s relatives. she was sent with chilali’s daughters helena and tempeste sabeen to the new place. nova felt harsher emotions like fear and stress came upon her and made her forget most of it. most of the time the sisters left her alone to her thoughts. awful thoughts filled her head. by a time that a week had past, she felt like a shell of negativity.
“we’re here,” helena said as they approached the an apartment door. she knocked on the door. a taller figure with a brown pelt and green hair up in a ponytail. a friendly smile appeared on her face then let them in. “welcome,” the figure said with a smile on her face as the trio walked into the small, messy apartment. “sorry about the mess in here, i was rushing around to try to get nova a little place to sleep.”
nova stayed silent as the figure approached her and held out a paw. “you must be nova. nice to meet you,” she said with a warm smile. nova took a step back out of unwillingness at the time. “well, i’m nortia.” after a little chatter between nortia and the sisters, tempeste and helena left the apartment to the pair of nortia and nova. “you have free to roam about in the apartment expect my bedroom. unfortunately, i don’t have a spare bedroom so you have to sleep on the couch.”
“okay, thanks… i suppose,” nova replied as nortia’s smile turned into a frown then left nova to her own thoughts after some major life changes. her mind flashed back to how she was before the pod crash with her family, friends, and future that could of been hers. it then lead her to the time in the kingdom. it wasn’t fun, but she does wish to see faust again after her kindness got her where she was. tears were shed and it finally allowed her to recollect on what happened through the month or two.
outside of her thoughts, the world grew silent with the moon in full view with its country shining on its surface. a side glance sent shivers through her body. they all thought that she was dead and her family was more than likely mourning over her false death. she was dead to the moon, her own home. if she returned, she would be seen as a traitor to the throne. here on earth, not many countries would be willing to let her become a citizen of their country. no one was willing to take her. tears came pouring down her face as nortia entered the room. she saw nova in tears and approached her with a look of concern. “what’s wrong, nova?”
“everyone back home thinks i am dead, and returning would be turning myself in for being a traitor. also, no country on earth wants me due to my place of origin,” nova replied through sobs. “i am not wanted anywhere.” with that statement, tears came harder and made it harder for her to breath through the sobs.
“even if you think that, doesn’t mean that you aren’t wanted in some places. you are wanted here because why else would you be welcomed into my home,” nortia dismissed the idea as she pulled nova into a hug to comfort her. “no matter what, we’ll try to make your future bright like the stars upon your pelt.”
the night dragged on with sobs, and nova trying to accept it. eventually, nova felt peace and acceptance in her like a raging fire. she felt that the future could still be bright even though it might be trouble to bring herself of this dark state. out of the hopefully, it would be a better future for her than the start on this planet.
relationship with notria nova has felt nothing besides gratitude for what nortia has given her after coming to earth. she has been like a mother to her and a best friend. nortia was there in her darkest time and many more. they always share laughs and good days. she wishes more than anything to be able to get a bright future with nortia watching.
