Prompt#3:
Amabel was in a particularly minty section of Babuland, the trees were peppermints on minty tall sticks, the bush-like candy replacements were peppermints. The flowers were more minty too, all kinds of mints. Of course, she could still see the chocolate stream far to her left, (the stream was very long,) though it has a slight peppermint taste, and the grass also tastes of mint, despite still being cotton candy. It was delicious of course, but still she wondered... How long has she been in this wonderland? How long had she been wandering, exploring, tasting. It was all so very very wonderful, and yet... She was getting homesick. While she was pondering this, she thought she heard
music... In the distance... Amabel, of course, was curious. So, she started heading for the sound. The music kept growing steadily louder... Louder... The peppermint biome, as she decided to call it, stretched on and on. The more she thought about it, the more she realized she was getting tired of Babuland, and of the endless amounts of candy. She recalled her first experience with Babuland, how everything was so amazing and new and delicious. How long had she been there? More than a day... Days? Amabel considered leaving, but there was just so much to explore! So many new places. Yet, she felt lonely too, wandering Babuland all by herself. She was very close to the source of the sound, which she now noticed was coming from a cave made of shimmering and glowing rock candy of all colors. It was beautiful, and she considered staying again. For how long though? How long had it been? Three days? Yes. Three. Amabel could see figures in the cave now, two, and the music grew louder and louder. Closer still, and she could tell the colors more easily. Blue and pink, brown, red and white. Closer, and she recognized the first. Aviva? She hadn't said in the chat that she was here, or coming here. Both of the Babusagi she saw seemed to be dancing, or trying. Amabel arrived at the entrance of the cave. She didn't feel entirely comfortable with interrupting them, or letting them know she was there. Amabel simply waited, feeling the ground with her paw. Aviva stopped dancing, and looked at Amabel confused. She seemed to be wondering if Amabel was actually there. The other bab also stopped, looking at both Aviva and Amabel in confusion. "Hey!" Aviva greeted Amabel. "Hi..." Awkward silence. The two talked for a bit about Babuland, and Aviva introduced Amabel to Laqueta. "Doesn't it get tiring though? Walking for so long here..." Amabel finally questioned. Laqueta looked down at her paws, as if ashamed to agree. "Hm... I guess so." Aviva replied, shrugging. "Hey... Laqueta? How long have you been here?" Amabel asked. "Oh... I don't know. My whole life." She replied. "Really?" "Yeah, I was spawned from the gacha here. Every summer this forest is linked to yours, and we have the oppurtunity to leave. So do you. Have the opportunity to leave, I mean. I never had the courage to leave his place. It's all I've ever known. It's not bad, it's nice... The other Babusagi here are nice too. It's just that everything looks the same after a while." Laqueta explained. "Hm... Well, maybe you can come with us! To our forest, our world. At least for a while. If you want to go back, then you can, but you could also stay with us for a year!" Laqueta looked at both Aviva and Amabel, shocked and confused. "Really?" She asked. Amabel and Aviva both nodded. "I'd love to!" Laqueta smiled. Amabel wondered... Is she ready to leave? She looked around the cave, outside at the candy forests, and came to her answer. Yes. Besides, if it's here every summer, she can come again. "Well, alright! Are we all ready?" Amabel stood, smiling.
