what happened to their hair?: A bottle of Nair and a crying kalon... that was what was left of a horrifying incident that left the poor kit hairless... They Loved her hair, she called herself the goldilocks of the kalon species, she loved her hair alot and was constantly bragging about it until it happened, It seemed like a mistake.. an accident, but it was not... She grabbed a bottle of Nair mistaking it for her shampoo and may it seem that she misplaced her shampoo it was really her friend who was so annoyed of her bragging that they needed to stop her but the only way was to remove her hair... Her friend put a bottle of Nair in place of the bottle of Shampoo and carefully stalked her... her screams soothed her friend as soon as she would come out of the shower her beautiful hair would be all gone... and it leaves us here. A bottle of Nair and a crying kalon...
how to they feel about it?: They were crying but then they became super angry and she was never the same again... now you could say that her friend regrets it!

what happened to their hair?/how to they feel about it?
Maybelle was constantly being teased at school by all the boys, and the girls were always fawning over her hair. To the boys, she was Rapunzel, and constantly had her braid tugged on and toyed with, despite yelling and slapping their hands away. When your hair gets so long, it's hard to keep all hands off it all the time. And if it wasn't the boys playing with it, it was the girls. "Why doesn't my hair get this long?" or "You're SO lucky," or "You should unbraid it so we can see how long it is." It was so frustrating that she couldn't enjoy it anymore. Her parents had always told her not to cut it, that she'd regret it, but… well, one night after a particularly bad day of tearful tugs and obnoxious jabber, she finally couldn't take it anymore. She headed straight home and found her dad's electric razor, shaving the whole lot of it right off. Once it was done, she felt for just an instant a little bit of regret, but she knew immediately that the tufty-haired grin she saw in the mirror was only going to be an improvement. She brought her severed braid downstairs and nearly made her mother faint, but they were still able to donate the hair and she had her dad touch up the rather funny looking shaving job she'd done on herself. It was a little spotty, she couldn't help that. But needless to say, the next day at school everyone was shocked. She suddenly had even more attention than usual, if that was possible. And for the first few days… it was worse, yes. She had kids petting the now barely-stubble on her head instead of her braid, but at least they couldn't pull on it. And on top of that - as time went on - they stopped. She has definitely gone back and forth on her decision a few times, but in the long run she knows that she made the right decision for herself, and now she can stand out without being bullied or nagged every day. In the end, she found her own style that nobody could convince her to change.

His mother sawed at the braids upon her crying boy's head, scattering chunks of his once shoulder length hair on the polished ancient stone floor. wip!
how to they feel about it?
Tears stained Hamish's face as he gazed at his reflection in a little creek in the woods. He reached up to feel one of the many short jagged strands standing out unevenly from his scalp. A fresh stream of tears began to leak from his eyes.

With a new set determination, Hamish grabbed his small dagger and got to work. Carefully, he cut away what was left of his mother's butcher work, effectively leaving him with short stubble covering his pale head.

what happened to their hair? They were chewing gum and blew a huuuuuge bubble. It popped and the gum got stuck, so they had no choice but to cut the sticky parts off. Self-haircuts never end up well, however, and they were left with uneven chunks in their attempt to fix it. The continually tried to even things out, but all they succeeded was cutting their hair shorter and shorter. In a fit of frustration at not being able to do it right, they just shaved the entire thing off.
how to they feel about it? They regret their impulsive actions. So much. They're really embarassed and they've taken to wearing wigs until their hair grows back enough.

what happened to their hair? This poor little kit was just trying to read her book on the playground, when one of the boys in her class took a dare to cut her hair off! She was very mad at first, but eventually she and the boy ended up talking more and more (mostly teacher-and-parent-ordered apologies) and became good friends.
how to they feel about it? She isn't thrilled that she had to loose her hair, but since she's now such good friends with the boy who cut it off she isn't too bitter. She wears a hat for now until it grows back.

what happened to their hair:
The pounding on the door made Timothy's heart beat faster with every knock. He didn't answer, he couldn't. He'd never been able to speak when he was crying, since childhood he'd never been able to speak over the lump in his throat. It always felt to him like his emotions rolled up into a ball all at once and gagged him. "Timothy," A panicked voice said on the other side of the door and the handle began turning and shaking as she, his foster mother whom he was able to recognize by her voice despite having not grown up with her, tried to get in. He whipped his tears away and clicked on the razor, letting all his hair fall down around him. Without stopping he kicked his backpack away so it didn't get covered with any stray hairs. He heard muffled voices on the other side of the door, he was sure someone had gotten the key. He had finished with just enough time. He dropped the razor into the sink without turning it off. He grabbed his backpack and swung it over his shoulder in one swift mood. The window was already open, he'd done it before he started anticipating the need to sprint out the door ahead of time. He lifted himself out, flipped his hoodie over his head and ran into the woods. Lucky for him his foster family lived out in the country, plenty of room to escape.
how to they feel about it:
The bus seat was hard, uncomfortable but at least he was alone. Mostly. A teen girl, somewhere around his age by the looks of it, and of course the bus diver, but other than that he was alone. The music played in his ears, enough to mask the road noise. So far his plan was working, no one had recognized him. To be fair no one would have recognized him anyways, at least there was a slim chance considering his social life was non existent, but without his long hair he seemed much more.... Normal. No defining features now, nothing interesting, nothing different. His outer appearance echoed the way he was feeling, empty.

what happened to their hair? She lost her hair as she was a very athletic person but her hair kept on getting in the way. Other people around her thought that her hair was too pretty, too styled and elaborate to be kept in the athletics she participated in. When she'd run, her hair would get into her face and it was too long that even braided it smacked other people, and too thick to put in a good bun. After being annoyed by other people for months and being annoyed herself by her hair and her own superficial nature, she made the brash decision to cut it herself in her bathroom to prove that she wasn't what others thought her to be, and that she could fit in with everyone else around her.

how to they feel about it? At first, she quickly realized her rash mistake and that now her hair was terribly cut, and was about to go to a elaborate stylist to get it done. Instead, she crossed out that idea and denied herself as she felt that would be going right back to being superficial and not really proving anything. The next day, she went to school, and while a bit shy and embarrassed about her bad hair job, to which some teased her for, everyone in her sports group were impressed and were quick to rescind their prior opinions about her. In the end, she felt proud that she had managed, in some way, to improve herself.

what happened to their hair?
Barcelona let his tail swish behind him in slight nervousness as he waited in line at the hair salon. His long hair was braided and thrown over one shoulder and his wide eyes glimmered with anticipation. Finally, the hair dresser at the farthest chair called his name. He stared at himself in the mirror as she took out her scissors and grabbed ahold of his braid. "Are you ready?" she asked him, smiling. "Its a really wonderful thing that you're doing." Barcelona thanked her and said he was ready. She placed the scissors as close to his head as she could and sliced clean through his braid. Barcelona watched what was left of his hair fall around his face in shaggy scruff and he couldn't help but smile to himself as the hair dresser placed his long donation to Locks of Love in a bag to be shipped away.

how to they feel about it?
Barcelona is proud of himself for dedicating the time to growing out his hair and not cutting it before it reached the right length and hopes it can be of help to kalons less fortunate than himself.
