A very passionate individual; he loves dance, and preforms elaborate, traditional dances on stage in decorative costumes. He takes his work very seriously and is well disciplined, by his own personal standards, practicing day in and day out. At times, his health may falter because of his dedication, but, as a dancer, he strives to take care of his physical health. He's tough on others, at least those that wish to be taught by him, but no tougher than he is on himself. He doesn't like making mistakes and, while he might not show it on the outside, he may really beat himself up over it. Outside of dancing, he pursues his thirst for knowledge and is often found reading; he's self educated, but quite intelligent and clever. When the need arises, he is kind, gentle and protective. He's known for taking others under his wing and caring for them, as if they were his own. Although he's not entirely aware of it himself, he's a total romantic. The idea of falling in love is a beautiful concept to him, and something he wishes one day to find, but has yet to experience.

He would most likely be a crowned heads bearded iris, a plant that flowers and blooms in later months of spring. In a number of cultures, members of royalty were enamored by irises and kept them close. In some cultures, they have the meaning of royalty, but also have meanings of faith, hope, and wisdom. Although he is not of royalty, he is prideful and well respected. The other meanings seem to suit him, as well.

I Imagine he would be found in a well beloved garden, one plant raised among many others, but each raised with passion and care, by someone that absolutely adored flowers. Likely a garden of someone of elite society, a noble or royal, which tend to have extravagant gardens.

During celebrations, individual flowers would be carefully trimmed from him, without doing him any harm, and used in extravagant decorations. Perhaps finely displayed in an arrangement on dinner tables, woven together and draped among the tapestries, or even worn a an accessory by a lovely woman or handsome man; the beautiful blue colors would bring a charming splash of color to an outfit, without overwhelming it. Pleasing and exciting to the eyes, even elegant, but not too much.

personality || elysia is a confident young gal. some do believe that she's right to be: her graceful looks and skill in hairdressing and floral arrangements are works of art to truly be proud of.
she has high standards for a lot of things, many even deem her snobby and rude.
her keen eye for aesthetics and inanimate beauty does give her a rather cold shoulder.
usually by herself and lost in her own thought, she shoos away anyone who disrupts her thought.
she's not chatty either. her voice is low and rather raspy, but because of her thoughts and imagination, she could make a great conversationalist.
also one to hold a grudge, she has no heart for bullies and even doubts bullies who have obviously changed.
her anger is never the loud, aggressive anger: she's always the one to give death glares and silent treatments to anyone who wrongs her or her very few close friends.
despite all these things, elysia is a confident and creative individual. she's passionate and a very hard worker: once she starts something, she makes sure to get it done in the best way possible. [189/200]

if they were a plant, where would they be found? || i imagine that elysia would be a gentiana verna, more commonly called the spring gentian, one of the smallest members of the genus gentiana.
many superstitions are associated with the flower despite its size (height of a few cm and a diameter of 1-2 cm). for example, it is considered bad luck to bring the gentian into a house because the person would risk being struck by lightning. (this might also be a good time to note that elysia's name is from the name of the heavenly fields of elysia, a section of the underworld mentioned in greek mythology. the mythological place name may have evolved from the designation of a place/person struck by lightning; lightning-struck.)
as these flowers are found in mountainous regions, i imagine elysia in the high atlas mountain range in morocco.
in the base of one of the range's many peaks, she remains motionless but forever entranced by the beauty of her surroundings.
the mountains have wonderful barren spaces that give elysia the opportunities to daydream about anything she can fill the gaps with.
the fields, the mountains, the skies: anywhere and anything can her canvas and her imagination is her brush.
mother nature is her gardener. the life-giving sunlight and the nourishing rain is enough for her as there is nothing on earth that is purer than earth itself. the occasional sounds of animals are what play in her song playlist, and the skies dotted with constellations are what she sees every night for movie night.
the infinite skies above her and the warm earth underneath her, she would never feel more at home anywhere else.
