Oddly enough, Keahi originally came from Mount Everest. He had lived inside of it for thousands of years. Every hundred or so years, he would get closer and closer to the very top of the volcano. Keahi was very excited to see the "outside world" since he had been trapped in the very large volcano all of his life. When it finally erupted, though, Keahi had flown far away from the disastrous volcano and didn't get to see it in action. At first he thought that the people would see how great the volcano was and see how beautiful it was, but it had the opposite effect.
People were devastated and everything was burnt down. Neighboring cities and towns were coated in ashes and the following weeks after that, it was almost black to them due to the thickness of the smoke blocking the sun. Keahi realized that volcanoes were very dangerous and thus felt like he was very dangerous since he had come from the volcano that had killed many and made much more suffer.

As mentioned above, he had originated from Mount Everest, or on the border of China. When he was free from living inside the huge volcano and saw how everybody reacted, he grew very upset since he considered himself a part of it. He felt like everybody would hate him, and thus, he ran away from the scene.
Keahi spent years searching for the ideal place for him to live at for the rest of his life. It was very difficult for him to find it, though. He wanted to live at a place where nobody would look at him and only think of the negatives. He also wanted the population to be small or very big and spread out. The last thing he was looking for, though, was a place where he could be reminded of home.
Every place he had visited to on the big continents were either too big and crowded or deserted since nobody would want to be near an active volcano. One day, Kaehi had overheard 2 other makos talking about going to Hawaii for a vacation. Not knowing where this was at, he did some research on it and discovered that it was an island with an active volcano on it. Kaehi found Hawaii very interesting and got on the next flight to Hawaii.
When he got there, he immediately fell in love with it. Even though it was a lot warmer then China, he grew to love it and their customs. Kaehi started to learn of their religion there and soon adapted there. Now, he lives happily in Hawaii and tells tales of the gods who had created volcanos, and tells them how he had come from a volcano as well!

Kaehi is a laid back mako who enjoys telling stories and pleasing others. He is an introvert, though, and prefers to stick to those who are closest to him. Kaehi is sensitive and usually takes things quite literally and tends to get upset about things that weren’t really meant to hurt him in the first place. This being said, he does have a temper. When he does get mad, Kaehi will usually yell and storm off to go to a quiet and peaceful place where nobody will bother him. After calming down, he usually returns back to his happy self.

Kaehi is also an optimistic person and always tries to see the bright side to things when others may not. Even when something may not have a happy ending to it, he would still believe something may turn things around at the last minute. Kaehi is a playful and competitive guy if you get him to play a game that he’s confident in. Usually he doesn’t play a game that he hasn’t heard of or doesn’t know how to play because he’d be scared that he would mess up. Kaehi usually laughs at himself though when he does and when he does loose, he’s always a good sport towards everybody.

Overall, Kaehi is somebody worth meeting and getting to know if you like somebody who’s happy and kind to everybody. It may take a little bit of time at first, but he really does open up as time goes on!
