old Americans... he will not go by any more "recent" historical names. However,
he also goes by "Christopher Robin" or whatever reason. He considers books and
characters he likes to have "historical" value.

Why that name?:
Christopher was named by his human friend, who is a historian specializing in american history.
Chris asked to be named after "someone who made the big time" and thus was dubbed Christopher.
though it is rather still a common name, so he'll accept any nickname that has mostly positive
or great historical value. Though, almost every big figure in history as at least one negative about them all the same.

A Brief History :
Christopher was born on his species' home planet... however he barely remembers it or his family
as he was only a little baby when he was shipped off to earth with many of the others. He grew up
with several younger escapees from the ruined ship, one being Miss Sweetie. Then, when people
began to investigate and tame these creatures, he decided to tame one of them instead of them
taming him and, promptly finding a group who was just there to record this for the archives of
history, he "adopted" a professor among the group. Since then he has lived with the professor
and his family, though he has complete freedom to come and go as he wants.

Some Interesting Facts About Him :
Whenever he meets someone new, or a new group of people, he introduces himself by a different name.
He loves giving himself various names from all over the place, be they historical names or names he just
likes for whatever reason. He keeps a little notepad where, to the best of his ability, he tries to write all
of "his names" down, as his human showed him how to spell. However, only being able to awkwardly move
a pencil by using his mouth and teeth, they are nearly illegible and only he can truly read it.
