When I first saw her I knew a Victorian Era name would fit her and something that was feminine, but to me not overly girly. The name Adelaide means "noble natured" which I feel fits her looks very well. I also just really enjoy how the name feels when I say it and how it sounds.

On the outside, Adelaide is very prim and proper and intelligent. She does not usually speak that often and when she does it is short and to the point. She feels no need to speak more than what is needed in most situations. She's a no-nonsense kind of doll. Others will see her as stuck-up and as a stick-in-the-mud, and for the most part she really is. She obviously does not mean any harm though and is very polite and tries to do the right thing, like a lady is supposed to do. Adelaide also has a soft spot for children and other small things and shows her affection towards others by fussing about them like a mother, fixing their hair and wiping dirt of their faces and straightening their clothes out. She's not introverted, but is not extroverted either. Just in the middle.
What others who are not super close to her don't know is that she has a thing for witchcraft. Yes, this well-mannered, rather stoic little lady is into magic spells and potions and all of those sorts of things. She reads many books about the history of witches and how to do certain things. Her personality completely changes whenever she gets into it, becoming spontaneous and pretty eccentric. She could literally talk for hours about it abd the new things she had learned that day. Adelaide's manners seem like they just fly out the window and can become reckless. She even burned a whole outfit while trying out something one time.

I chose this name because swan's are seem and beautiful and elegant birds. Which is the exact opposite to what Swan is. Swan is slightly tone deaf and she is fairly clumsy so her name is slightly ironic.

Personality
Tacita, believe it or not, is actually a mute. She may not be able to talk but Tacita can be extremely musical at times. She loves to play the piano and the violin the most, the violin being her most favorable instrument. When she does play, Swan usually chirps along to the melody to increase how it sounds. However, Swan is tone deaf so the little bird usually messes up the the notes.
Tacita is also a stubborn girl who will do anything to do what she believes is right and she hates being proven wrong. Apart from that she is curious of the world and may be caught spying on people she finds interesting.
Because of her curiosity, Tacita is also very knowledgeable and is often caught jotting down ideas for stories, however she dislikes writing so she never really writes the stories.
She is also a lover of strange art (like the one in this form) and she loves to draw her own. Only her art is sloppy and usually doesn't come out neat and beautiful like she expects it to. Either way she is proud of her work even if others give her a hard time about it.
