____Story.

____Nita used to live on her own in the woods that surround a beautiful lake. She often roamed near the water to look for fish, as that was her favorite meal, and one day, she decided to take a longer stroll around the shore. On her way, she spotted a human scurrying through the tall grass, but since they didn't seem to notice her, she just kept going her own way until she came across a small wooden cabin.
____Curious as she was, Nita carefully stepped closer to inspect it and noticed the door was open. That was her woods, she thought, she had the right to know everything that's going on around, so she sneaked in. It was apparently empty, aside from a few pieces of old, dusty furniture and a rug thrown to a corner. She examined the stuff closer and found out beneath the rug, there was a trapdoor. It had been carelessly closed, so it was easy enough for Nita to open it with her beak, but the way down was a ladder and she didn't know if she'd be able to climb it back up, so she just peeked in carefully. The underground place seemed to be some sort of lab. Nita couldn't tell exactly what all those human things were for, but there were a lot of shiny things, and Nita really likes shiny things.
____All the glitter from the glass and metals had distracted her, so she accidentally fell down into the chamber. As she found herself already inside and possibly trapped, she couldn't help checking out the shiny things on the shelves. Some had flasks containing many sorts of colorful liquids, others had large collections of books, but the ones that caught Nita's attention the most were the shelves housing a variety of minerals. But as she tried to reach the silver pieces on a higher shelf, she lost balance and fell to the ground, bringing down an entire shelf of chemicals with her. Even though she came out of it unharmed, the few pieces of silver she had managed to grab were now covered in these liquids of an acid smell she could not stand.
____And right at that moment, a human came in. Nita recognized him. He was the human she had seen earlier. He was surprised with the stray creature in his lab and all the damage it seemed to have caused, but something else caught his attention. The mixture spilled on the floor over the silver pieces, once reddish and transparent liquids, was now turning yellow. Ignoring the parrapup for a moment, he examined the mixture more closely and started taking notes. It appeared that the accidental mixture could be the answer to complete his goal, to transmute silver into gold. The alchemist then turned to Nita and offered her a tuna sandwich he took from his backpack, to show his gratitude for the lucky mess she did. She gladly snatched it from his hands and gulped it down happily, even letting him pet her while this. Then, he helped her getting back outside, letting her keep a piece of silver for herself.
____On the following day, Nita came around again. She had enjoyed the sandwich and the cuddles, so she waited for the alchemist to show up. Upon seeing her, he smiled and came closer to pet her. He had even brought an extra sandwich, in case he did meet her again, which she was happy to devour.
____The alchemist named her Citrinitas, meaning yellowing, for that was the color her accidental mixture turned into. He let her make her home into his wooden cabin and they became good friends.

You took the time to not only create a wonderful story that really showed who Nita is and how she interacts with others but also stunning art that also very much expresses her personality (not to mention picking an amazing song vuv) Enjoy your new Parra Shenzai~
