I'm a noob here, but these are just a few ideas. I think these foxerflies are really cool though, and I'd be honored to win this one.
Name:
I'd say her name would be Nova.
Talent:
Her talent would be consoling others and decorating. She enjoys decorating things just for fun, usually with items and trinkets she collects.
Eyes:
Her eyes should have indigo-purple irises, like her amulet, with a bit of yellow around her pupils, similar looking to nebulae.
She enjoys reading and studying. She has a special tree, which she flies up to and perches in at night to watch and study stars. As mentioned earlier, she decorates this tree with all kinds of things. Items like glass bottles and their caps hang like windmills, and are designed to catch the light at a certain time of the day, and the forest is painted with all the colors of the rainbow. She sometimes steals pieces of literature from humans and stashes them in places to read, much like any others would stash meat and bones. She likes sleeping in the sun, but never on the ground.

Swift is a night guardian , she makes the moon rise and controls the tides.
Eye:
Swift has glowing eyes to help her lead herself through the dark.
Her eyes glow purple because that's what color her charm is

Story:

I came from the moon they say. But thats not true. I'm your regular foxer fly nothing different. Well sorta... I protect the night creatures. I guess you could call me a night guardian. Well I'm working on being a night gaudian, I'm not old enough.
Anyways... My parents had left me when I was young and that's why I live in the wild without any company except the night creatures. Shall I tell how why I was abandoned? I was born with purple glowing eyes, the color of my charm. It is in normal. The glowing eyes comes along wit an evil curse thing. The curse is that the baby born with the glowing eyes will curse the family. So in that case it means they could die. My mother was afraid, afraid of me. No one could stop her from abandoning me. I was left in the wild with other night creatures. I learned the great powers of the glowing eyes. I could rise the moon! I could protect the the creatures from the dark spirits! I was meant to be there, I could feel it. I was alive for once.
