A bamboo forest in Kyoto, Japan. While I don't know where this particular bamboo forest is, I have seen bamboo forests in person, and it is breathtaking. It feels like walking into an Asian wonderland or Narnia. The forests are very still and quiet, and the bamboo reaches up to the sky, making you feel dwarfed in comparison, like an insect looking up through the grass, you half expect a giant to go lumbering overhead.
