I've avoided this long enough

first off, yes I have indeed been avoiding announcing who I've chosen for the winner
why? simple
IT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND STILL IS

I struggled between Qualeo and Gerbilnutter
all the forms were interesting and lovely, but these two were the final ones.

Unfortunately, none of my guest judges finished up, so I was on my own with this.
I considered various thing, but eventually, it came down to the raw character given in these forms.
I felt one truly fit this MWK, though some may disagree.
And so, I will be awarding a runner up kit to the second place entrant IF wanted.

Recon is well known for her sharp tongue and snarky comebacks, an individual that was either loved or hated. She is not generally mean - she is in fact usually nice. She just tends to be bad with words and say things with either a bit more aggression or snark than she originally meant. She just can't help herself!

She is also very prideful and can be difficult when it comes to changing her mind. She simply prefers her ideas and her ways better than others, believing that she knows best. She can be ignorant and close-minded, but once again, she generally never means anything despicable about it. She simply tries to solve problems in the best way she thinks she can - by doing it her way.

She is also known to be an adventure lover and can't stand NOT visiting planets they pass by. She finds joy in unique and interesting things and is always looking out for something new to explore. She had landed herself in trouble with all sorts of locals of different planets - her sassy remarks certainly not helping. She generally has to have somebody around to keep her ot of trouble.

Recon simply loves to party - especially in nightclubs. She's a social bug and can't resist the temptation of music and rocking out parties have to offer. She's been known to try all sorts of crazy dance moves and pig out at the refreshment table. Who can blame her though? Parties are usually always a good time, especially when Recon is around!

Reading

A little bit different from her love of music and partying, Recon simply loves to read. She thinks there is always time to just sit down and relax with a good book. She is a big fan of fantasy books and romance novels, though occasionally she might try a mystery novel. She finds excitement in reading about other worlds and following the main characters in their crazy adventures.

Dancing

As expected, Recon is a big lover of dancing. She likes to study all types of dancing, from the elegant ballet to the wild pop culture dance styles. She appreciates the moods you can get just from watching somebody dancing around. She herself is far from being a great dancer, but she's slowly improving.

H I S T O R Y

Ever since she was a little kit, Recon has always been curious about the world. She constantly thought about her place in the universe and why they were always moving. She would always lay on her father's back while their pack moved through the stars, observing the various stars and galaxies they would pass. When she saw her first planet, however, her curiosity changed. Instead of just watching, she decided to visit.

She was constantly told never to venture towards the planets, as she might come across one with a strong enough gravitational force to keep her there, but she never paid any attention to that. Her bright and curious mind simply could not resist the temptation, a trait that proved to be quite dangerous at times. Her chibi wings were never really meant for flying for too long or too high, so she was constantly being rescued by her more powerful father and packmates. Despite the countless times she landed in danger, her curiosity never dwindled nor did her obedience ever change. She only grew more restless and reckless with each trip to the planets, ignoring her parent's pleas to just stay with them. She loved them - but had to know more about the universe and what secrets laid on each planet.

As she grew older, she began to see her pack in a new light - a prison that enslaved her mind in its unchanging ways. She grew an attitude at some point, constantly backtalking her parents whenever they tried to scold her for leaving. There was simply too much down on the planets to ignore. She could not stand a life of traveling through an empty vacuum with only her packmates. They had never seen another creature traveling like them, so it was likely they were the only ones. She could not stand being alone like that for her whole life.

Despite her disobedience and disregard for her parent's obliviousness, Recon stayed with the pack until she grew in to a full-fledged adult. She knew that there was still much for her to learn from them before she could truly free herself. When she was finally fully grown, Recon flew away and never looked back.

After parting ways, Recon's adventurous spirit grew more radical as she constantly visited every planet she saw. She engaged in dangerous explorations and interacted with as many species as she could, some more violent and hostile than others. She simply saw it as a game, prancing around as she toured many different ecosystems. Her flying ability increased , though she would never be able to truly fly with her wings.

Eventually, however, she came across the planet Earth and it was there where she met her downfall. She realized too late how strong the gravity on Earth was, yanked down harshly towards the ground. It was also there where she met her first true friend - Lionel.

Lionel had come across her unconscious form after hearing the sound of crashing, knowing that it was possible it was another kit. He had met many kits that had fell prey to Earth's gravity. Recon has been unprepared for the sudden force, collapsed in a crater with her hair sprawled across her face. It would not be a few days until she awoke, realizing her situation.

Recon had acted quite hostile towards Lionel at first - assuming her parents had sent him to bring her back. After having clawed at him and receiving a very distressed explanation, however, she had relaxed. Lionel was at first wary of her after that but later grew to trust her. The two spent several days together, Lionel explaining why Recon could no longer fly. It had been heart-breaking, but she knew there was nothing to be done. She was stuck forever. She later ended up meeting his sister, Tora, though the two did not get along at all.

Ever since then, Recon has spent her time exploring the planet, observing the species and doing whatever she could to find some form of adventure. Occasionally Lionel joins her, teasing her about her chibi wings and helping her get through different situations. The two have been close friends ever since they met ad it is unlikely that will ever change.
