Name of the Mutato;; Amaranth~
Reason for choosing the name;; Amaranth is a very pretty shade of pink, and this mutato just reminded me of that color. It is also a plant, with the most beautiful pink flower~
Picture with a pink/pinkish color scheme;; I thought this was beautiful~
Amaranth's favourite hobby;; Amaranth, despite looking incredibly girly, actually loves to play sports, and watch them. Her favourite sport is definitely Hockey, you can often find her watching the Hockey on the TV, completely transfixed, or out in the air, playing with a water balloon that has been filled with air and a minature wooden Hockey stick that she owns.~

+Aya's Story

My fur blew back in wind as I neared the Nikkō National Park in Japan. There, I saw a fluffy patch of lime green grass that was safe for a landing. I slowly let myself fall down to the ground. Wow. I can't believe I'm finally here. I quickly snatched the leather backpack that was hung on my back and unzipped it. Inside, there was piece of bread, a slice of cheese, a map, a notebook, and a pink pen. I took the pen and notebook and quickly jotted down: June 21 2014, Finally got back to Japan after 3 hours long flight. Feels great to see the Cherry Blossoms again. I guess I should start to look for my old home in the little village. I then closed the blue notebook and placed it and the pen in my bag. I slipped on my backpack and toke off east of the forest. I ran and ran until I found the Hana burūmu (Flower Bloom) river. I swiftly bolted across the lily pads and began follow the cobblestone path that lead to my old village of Yama Hara. I thought it would take a while to make it there so, I kept myself occupied by listening to chirping of birds and the sly breeze. After a while, I stopped, took out my notebook and wrote: Nature expresses itself with such beauty. I wish I could be part of it so, I too, can express such grace and tranquility. Almost forgot to mention, I'm near the village I once loved.I'm really excited to see my family again. I then, out of sheer excitement, stuffed the notebook back into my bag and took off running down the cobblestone path. My tail dragged behind me as my tiny paws clattered against the stone again and again. I could feel birds watching me from their hiding spots among the trees, observing me as I bounded towards the trail of home. In a few minutes, I reached the village's entrance. Villagers' heads turned to the sight of me galloping towards them. I quickly scooted to a halt. The villagers stood there, shocked. Oh, oh. They don't recognize me! I thought, but just as I thought that, the villagers' shocked expressions turned into happy moods! They lifted me up and chanted:"Aya's back! Aya's home!". They then brought me and set me down at the entrance of a house where another mutato was standing. I squinted to see the other mutato's face. It looked like mom."Mom?" I said still quite unsure. "Aya?" a familiar voice said. It was mom! A wide smile appeared on my face and on hers. We ran to hug each other. "Mom! I missed you so much!" I tearfully cried. "Me too!" chocked my Mom. I guess those villagers were right... I thought. I REALLY am home! That night, at my "Welcome Home Party" that the villagers were holding, I took out my notebook and pen and wrote once again. This time I wrote:I never really understood what this mean't till now:
"Home is Where the Heart is.........."

This was an incredibly hard contest to judge. ^^ But congrats. I loved the story.
