Hope its not to late now...

Dino's name:
Shetan

Dino's gender:

Male

Your Rider's Name:
Tasha
Tasha will nearly always act before thinking about it. She often gets in trouble because of that. Some may call her brave or fearless, because she never thinks anything is too dangerous for her. Others will just call her crazy. Lots of small scars tell the story of how often she got in serious trouble. But nothing can stop her from searching for more adventures. The next one is capturing, and training a dino.
She hates rules, and will just ignore them, if they are in her way. Tasha is cheeky, stubborn, moody and most likely not follows any advice. A real teenage girl in the phase of rebellion.
Even her look is kind of wild. Her long blond hair is always messy, and her green eyes dont make it any better. As already mentioned, you can find small scars everywhere on her body, from several adventures.

Your Rider's Tribe:

Mat'onit

Do you plan to train this dino?
Yes, of course.

First impression:

Tasha heard a loud and angry roar. She saw a new adventure calling for her. This dino sounded perfect. Wild and strong, just as she whises her dino would be like. Tasha followed that roar, until she saw him. He was amazing! Others might have been afraid, because of his spooky colouring, but not Tasha. She loved him.
"He seems to be hard to capture," she thought, "someone tried already. But I wont fail!"

Dino's name: Crair (cryer)
Your Rider's Name: Rae
Your Rider's Tribe: mat'onit, I think crimson would look quite nice with his coloring.
How do you plan to train this dino? Within writing and minimal art. From this dino, I will take it to many training stages, and it will no doubt be very difficult.
First impressions: I screamed, trying to throw myself as far away from the creature as possible. It was terrifying, with its red eyes and razoring spines... Practically crying, I forced my body farther against the rock. I had come out here to camp, and was not expecting such a feirce creature! Closing my blue eyes, I waited to be torn apart... It didn't happen. What did happen, though, was the saddened noise of what seemed like a baby crying. I had fallen into a hole when I found the beast. White and black, it stood out from the brown and cream rock walls. Its face was scrunched up in what seemed like rage, but as I kept looking, it appeared to be more sorrowful than anything... It made the pathetic noise again, trying to get as far away from my general area as possible. Looking for the source of its anguish, I could only find myself. This large creature, so vicious looking and wild, was afraid of me? Upon further notice, I saw an old, rusty shackle attached to his leg. "Hey there buddy..." I whispered quietly, reaching out. The dino flinched, screeching so loud that I thought my ears would explode. Gasping, I reached forward still, letting my hand rest on the beast's thigh. It held still, like a statue, looking extremely uncomfortable. After a few minutes, the young dino turned its head, gingerly sniffing my hand. Its eyes met mine, only for a second, before he seemed to calm. Who had cuffed him? Why? Recalling his ear splitting screech, I figured I would name him. After all, who knew how long I would be stuck down here... "Crair." I whispered, letting my hand start to wander to his face. "I'll call you Crair." Instead of making the shrill noise again, the creature let me pet him. He wasn't very comfortable with it, I could see that, but maybe... After a long time... He would be.

Korona Knight wrote:ImageMy username is Korona Knight, though most people just refer to me as Korona or Kora. My favorite characters always adorn the name Korona Knight {or various forms of the name} and all normally have similar personalities and even looks. It's a name that I cherish and rarely ever change.
ImageAfter searching long and hard for a name that would suit this particular dinosaur, I decided to go along with the theme of colors and the date for which this ends. His name is Idolum, Latin for Ghost or Spirit. There were other words I would have chosen, though none quite suited him as best as Idolum. Idol would most likely be his quick call name, something I as a rider would refer to him on short notice. Obsidian was another name for the beast, though upon further inspection of the name, it was discarded, as Idolum is not only more unique for a name, but Obsidian refers to a rock, while Idolum refers more to something that I believe the dinosaur relates to - a ghost or a phantom.
ImageMy rider's name is in no doubt Korona Knight. She hails from a broken family of poverty and heartbreak; however, this has only made the young woman stronger than anyone had ever expected.
Kora is of short to average height, only about 5 and half steps, toe to heel, of her father's feet. She has very long ebony hair that falls to her lower back when it is dried, though reaches well past her rear when wet, as her hair is naturally curly, a mess of large barrel curls, waves, and smaller curls intertwined. She often has her hair pulled up into a gentle, loose, high ponytail or just down and free, though she will rarely put it in a braid or do something more intricate with it, if she feels bored or the need to do such a thing.
Her eyes are a very light gray, almost a shimmering silver, with flecks of different colors swimming in the depths, though you would never be able to tell unless you watched the color of her eyes from day to day, as they vary with her outfit and the lighting. Most often they will only look a dark gray or a very light sapphire, though they've been known to even look violet on some occasions.
Kora's skin has an olive skin tone base and tans very well. Because she outside a good 50% of the day, Kora has gotten a rather dark complexion.
Kora has a very slim figure, and though it doesn't show it, there is a lot of power packed behind her lean, wiry muscles. She is sometimes referred to as too skinny, but when your family hardly makes enough to buy one meal a week, not eating becomes a habit.
Because of her looks, Kora is often looked at as unapproachable, harsh, daunting, cruel, sarcastic, distraught, and often times, bordering insane. Though she denies none of this and her personality shows that most of it is true, there is more to Kora than just simple black and white words on a paper or given to her as a label by the members of her village and tribe. She is a natural hunter and has provided for her family in such a way. Now that she has reached the age that she can get a mount, she knows she can do so much more for her family. She has secret dreams and wishes, though has the mind to know that it is only wishful thinking. Though she has a hard shell, a few people may be able to crack her open and reach the depths of her true identity.

ImageKorona was born and raised in the tribe of Mat'huen. She has a small trinket she keeps at all time, a sliver of obsidian in her pocket. There is nothing distinctive about this piece of black rock, other than it's extremely shiny, a characteristic of the rock, and it allows her to see her darkened reflection whenever she feels lonely or lost. It provides her nothing but comfort and a memory, to always keep her tribe and her colors close to her.
ImageI plan to train Idolum through writing. While I have no talent for drawing in any aspect, writing has become a passion of mine, to the point where it's become a career option for me, if I wish to choose it. Though I'm nowhere near good at this point, I am improving rapidly, and anything to improve my writing is a great opportunity for me. I believe Idolum and Korona will get far through my training with writing.
ImageWith each step, sand displaces itself from beneath my enclosed foot, the leather that surrounds the tender flesh slowly beginning to wear away, and I fear that all too soon I will need to discard these shoes and make a new pair, or worse, buy a new pair.
A sigh escapes my heaving chest as I continue to walk forward, the metal of my armor clinking together softly with every step, reminding me of my task. My armor was nothing more than a thin chest plate, shoulder pads, a back plate, some very old and rusted chain mail, shin guards, and lower arm guards. The only weapon I had on me was my favored bow, though I prayed that I would not need it.
My mission continued to roll itself around in my head, taunting me with its ever echoing reminder; This is what will make you an adult. This is what will make you a true warrior. If you die...you will be missed.
I cringed at the last part, as I did every time I thought about it, but I had to do this. Not just for me, but for my family. My mother...my father...my younger siblings...and for Mako, may he rest in peace. It was this very task that had brought an end to my only older sibling. He had waited much longer than I had, as I am merely 17 years old and he was a good 20 when he went out to become a man, and yet something went wrong, and I lost him forever.
That was a few years ago. Now, it's my turn to face my fate.
I stop, taking a deep, steadying breath before pushing onward.
The first thing I heard was the noise. It was a gentle, subtle sound, just droplets falling back to their mother lake, but the soft gulps that followed afterwards alerted me that I was no longer alone.
Turning, I barely moved as I looked over to where the sound was originating, my heartbeat speeding up, threatening to stop at any second or burst out of my chest - I don't think it had decided on its fate yet.
Merely ten or so running strides away stood what seemed to be the most elegant, yet dangerous, creature I'd ever laid eyes on. I had seen a few dinosaurs in my day, but never quite like this. All the ones I had seen were trained and rather humble, entertaining us children and protecting us. Seeing the ones with the soldiers of my tribe was the reason I wanted to be a warrior. I wanted to do what they could do, yet they were nothing like the thing that stood in front of me.
It lifted its head from the water, the black patches around its eyes whipping back and forth from my view as it shook its head to try and rid itself of the excess water. It was then that it finally noticed me, its shockingly scarlet eyes locking onto my own, though I'm sure I was wide eyed and terrified at that moment.
I'm not sure how long we stood there, staring at each other, but it was quite some time before something clicked in its mind, and it charged.
I rolled out of the way as fast as I could, thankful for my balance, flexibility, and reaction time. Those three attributes were the only reason they had considered me to go out on my own, without anyone to at least accompany me to the dinosaur. I had insisted I do it on my own, and from what they saw of me, they agreed.
There was no time to think as the dinosaur turned, continuing its charge, a blood-curdling roar emanating from its chest and sinking into my very core.
I began to tire as I dodged each run, though it showed no signs of slowing nor tiring as it just continued to come at me, teeth bared and growling, something that was more terrifying to me than anything I'd ever experienced before.
It wasn't until it was turning around for yet another charge that I noticed something odd on its right ankle. Thinking fast, I tuck and rolled when it charged, but this time I went underneath the dinosaur, grabbing the odd thing and allowing myself to be jerked as it picked up that leg.
The dinosaur had not been prepared for this and stumbled, rolling a bit away from me, glaring at me as I had let go, sitting and trying to get a baring for my surroundings.
The thing glinted again, and from what I had felt and what I was seeing, it looked like a broken chain. I looked at the dinosaur, which I could now tell was male, and could see something I hadn't seen before - fear. True terror shone in the depths of those blood red irises, and a slight, visible shudder ran down his spine.
We both arose at the same time, still watching each other carefully, before he limped off at as fast a rate as he could manage. I knew I hadn't caused the limp, as I was not that heavy nor that strong, but I had made it more prominent, which set hard in my stomach as guilt crept up my spine.
What had happened to that poor dinosaur? Something terrible, I know that much, and I fear it had something to do with another tribe. It did not look like something my tribe would use, though it would most likely be blamed on us if this was ever found out. No one trusts my tribe, and I'm rather alright with that.
I brushed myself off, picking up a few dropped items, including my shard of obsidian. It had a deep crack in it now, and as I looked closer, I saw that the crack was filled with blood, as well as the tip. The blood was already drying, but I could tell it was not human. The dinosaur must have stepped on it by accident.
As I walked back towards my village, I pocketed my good luck charm, reflecting back on what had just happened. Something terribly wrong had been inflicted upon that dinosaur, and for some reason, rage boiled inside of me as I thought about it. I felt personally connected to him now, and that injustice would not do.
I vowed then that I would catch that dinosaur, tame him, and claim him as my own. He was already mine in my head, and though I knew others would be after him as well, I was determined to get him first. He deserved someone who would understand him, and if anyone knew about a life of horrid events, it was my own self.
My hand felt the shard of obsidian once more. I felt a deep connection with this dinosaur, and it was my destiny to tame him. I would make my entire family proud, but most of all, I would make Mako proud.

.~*~.

I may or may not edit this a little later, but for now, this will have to do ^^

Simply beautiful writing ans storyline! Everyone had fantastic forms, making this again another hard contest to judge.
I seriously cannot wait to hear more of this story unfold! Congrats, Korona Knight!

I am so breathless right now! I absolutely adored him when I laid eyes on him and...well, I'll spare the details. I'm so happy! I want to start his basic training right away! Should I just post that right here as I go along?
