Lena. She has silvery blonde hair and sky blue eyes with black speckles. Lena is smart and shy, and she doesn't have many friends. Lena wears a chain mail chestplate over a blue tunic and leather pants with armor sewed in. Despite her personality, Lena is one of the best spearthrowers in the tribe.

Yay! Starting training ASAP

Basic training #1

Lena sat on the fallen log, looking at her dinosaur. She was thrilled, but the hardest part was approaching fast. I must be gentle, I must not startle her, but if I just go up and pet her when she's not looking, she might mistake me for lunch... Lena sighed, thinking to herself. Well, I should just get it over with... she walked up to her dinosaur, trembling. She made noise as she circled the mightly reptile, so she knew Lena was there. Lena slowly reached out her hand to the dinosaur's flaring nostrils. A clap of thunder echoed from a far off storm. As Lena laid her hand on the nose of the Dino. Lena looked at the soft blue eyes looking into her soul. "You are Sparks. I ask of you to be my lifetime companion." She said, cupping the chin of her steed. A silent promise passed between them. Another clap of thunder boomed in the distance, and Sparks roared, finally finding her true rider.

Basic training #2

Lena heaved the heavy leather and metal saddle onto the fence. "Well girl, you ready?" Sparks answer was in the form of a nervous huff. It was a big day for both of them. Lena took the bridle from the old wooden post where it was hanging, and turned it over in her hands. She showed it to Sparks, who answered with the shifting of foot and the whip of her tail. This is going to be a long day... she thought. Lena carefully put the bridle on while Sparks suspicious gaze followed her every movement. "Done." Lena said, admiring Sparks with her bridle. Sparks shifted, turning her head and trying to loosen it. Then, Lena heaved the saddle up into her arms, looking up at the tall Dino. "If you would, please." She said to her beloved reptile, waiting while Sparks thunked to the ground, in easier reach of Lena. Lena slowly slid the saddle onto Sparks' back. This was the breaking point. Sparks tossed around, flinging the saddle of and loosening the bridle enough for her to pull it of with her claws. She roared, then looked at Lena ashamed. "This is going to take a lot of work..."

Basic Training #3

Lena had just got done fitting Sparks with her equipment. "Now are we going to do this the hard way?" Lena looked at her precious dinosaur. Sparks huffed, then crouched, letting Lena get on. She jumped on, taking a hold of the reins. Sparks snorted and got up, not used to the weight, and staggered around. Lena yelled, the saddle slipping. Sparks roared, then in the distance, Lena heard a cackle. She turned around, seeing a large group of large hyenas. Sparks hesitated, stepping back. This was the movement that made the saddle slip off completely, and Lena fell in the dust, right in front of the hungry beasts. They advanced, snarling, while sparks still stood, watching in horror. Then one of the lashed out and bit her. Lena cried out as her leg started bleeding. This was the motivation Sparks needed. Sparks roared, and with her tail, slammed half of them away and scattered, they ran off, the last few hesitated, looking at each other. Sparks jumped out, took one in her mouth, and shook it until it's mangy back broke. Sparks then flung it infront of the rest and they ran off, screeching in terror. Once they were gone, Lena looked up at Sparks. She then threw her arms around her dinosaur. "Thank you..."

Advanced training 1

Lena lay down on her back on a small hill under a tree, absently watching the clouds and smiling as the saw Sparks chase squirrels out of the corner of her eye. Sparks would see one and give chase, but not understand when the squirrels didn't run, and instead stared lazily at the white, black, and blue Dino, then continued on to their business. Sparks became inpatient, then finally plucked a squirrel off a branch and delicately crushed it in her jaws. She lumbered over to Lena and dropped the flimsy tree rodent on her chest, covered in saliva. Lena picked it up gingerly and tossed it back to Sparks, who opened her mouth and swallowed it whole. "Gross Sparks, just gross." Lena said, then smiled as Sparks flopped down beside her and licked her face. Lena pet her beloved scaled mount, sighing. "it's a good day girl." She smiled, watching a birds nest in a tree, the mother bringing back worms for her hatchlings, seeing a small fox come out of the underbrush, pad a few feet, then pause, look back as two pudgy little foxes waddle out behind their mother on short legs, and keep on moving, letting her pups catch up enough to protect them if they were attacked. Lena sighed and closed her eyes, dozing off.
