It means "apple" in korean. I thought it had a nice feminine ring to it, it seems so delicate and precious. Almost like an audible little apple blossom! I really enjoy the way it rolls off the tongue oh so easily.

pet peeves;
i. apple oxidation.
Don't we all hate it when you take a bite of an apple, leave it for a minute, and then come back to a brown apple? Yeah, well Sagwa especially hates this. She'll even go so far as to refuse to eat the browned apple! Picky little thing, isn't she? She's tried various methods to stop (or at least delay) the oxidation process, but alas. Each time, she always says the same thing: that it's simply not the same as eating just a plain old apple, in it's raw, unaltered form.

ii. cherry-flavoured anything.
She really hates anything cherry-flavoured, not only because she finds the taste absolutely dreadful, but her delicate tum can't take it! If she does happen to ingest anything close to cherry, she finds herself with a nasty tummy ache (and if it's really bad, a headache as well).

iii. when the wick of a tealight runs out before the candle does.
Sagwa absolutely loves candles of all sorts, especially the cute little tealights you can find. They make her feel so cozy and snug, wherever she is (pumpkin spice is her favourite). However what she does not love, is when the wick of the candle/tealight burns to short for it to be used again. "It's wasteful," she'll say, "Plus you're in the red one candle!"

Reason for choosing the name
I chose it since her body design is based off a sand dollar and sand dollars are found at beaches. Myrtle is a beach I normally go to once a year. I love going to that beach since there's so much to do and I can collect a lot of sea shells. I wanted to name her after the beach I love the most.

Pet Peeves?
When a pencil gets the sharpening part right but not the writting part right. It just irritates Myrtle so much that she literally breaks the pencil in half. Sometimes she'll try it again but if it happens then she'll just throw away the pencil. This is why nobody should allow her to borrow any wooden pencils.

When a page says perferated but it's only partly so tear at your own risk. She just hates how it leaves a huge rip in the page.

Whenever people switch a DVD's disc with a completely disc. It just annoys her to find out the DVD is completely different than what she likes. Myrtle hates when anybody does this since all it does is waste her time that she could have spent watching the film.

her nicknames :: She has two nicknames, but prefers one over the other. The one she prefers is Eva or Ava which are both pronounced the same way, [ eh-vah ]. She writes it like Ava though. The second one she likes less and is just used by friends, not close friends. It is Val, pronounced [ vah-l ].
reason for her name :: The origin of this beautiful girls name is Celtic. In Celtic, it means Island Of Apples
pet peeves :: Ava's peeves are
1. When she thinks of a really good idea and is really happy that she thought of it and no-one else did. Then she tells it to someone else so they can appreciate it or at least say its good. Then, a couple of days later they're telling it to everyone but taking all the credit.
2. When someone else makes an annoying repetitive sound or something else like that and when she asks them to stop multiple times, they just carry on. She especially get annoyed with that because she knows they're now just doing it to be annoying to her.
3. When she introduces someone to someone else or is introduced to someone else, and instead of talking there's just silence. Not even a companionable silence, more like a i-don't-know-what-to-say-help-me-please type of silence.
