I would have to name this lovely gal Lily, as it has a lovely lily in the picture and I also personally love lily's for their beauty. Which is actually good, as the mutato's name would be lily which is a beautiful flower.

Well the reason for this name is partially what it means and because of the lily in the picture, as I think lily's are beautiful. Also the name means Pure, and the flower represents innocence, purity, and also beauty. I just thought that would be something that you could learn today, or if you already knew then I can remember you. Another reason that I chose this name is because lily's are my favorite flower as is music, so yep the mutate fits perfect.

How I ended up with Maestro? Well thats a funny little story I was practicing and he just floated down to listen, I was amazed to see him just sitting on my window sill, happily chirping along to the tune.. well ok so he paced on my sill, poor guy can't stand still, but he was definatly enjoying my poor playing. When I was done my practice session I asked him if he wanted to hear the whole thing being played properly. He seemed interested so I set my iPod to play the version I posted above, he hasn't left my place since. *Smiles brightly* I'm so glad little Maestro is still with me. *lovingly scratches his head*

hiya! my name is dia!
this antsy little critter will go by the name dolce.
why dolce? it means sweet. when you see dolce written on your music, it is your cue to play the song sweetly. dolce is a very sweet little mutato. one might bet that if one were to taste her, she would even taste sweet... like cotton candy. but let's not do that. mutatoes are not for eating, they are for loving. she doesn't ever mean to do any harm. there is not one evil gas in her little mutato body. her existence is very quiet and passionate. it is incredibly hard not to love her. her favorite things are very sweet as well - as they very well should be. she adores sweet music, sweet people, sweet wine, and puppies. what's sweeter than puppies? in short, her name defines who she is, which is why she is called dolce.
dolce's favorite song is song for lyndsay. it is peaceful and oozes passion. dolce doesn't like music that is too fast or loud, as it makes her worry that something bad is going to happen. one little mutato can only take so much excitement... and dolce can tolerate even less. song for lyndsay is perfect for her though. it makes her happy whenever she hears it playing.

extra;; I considered drawing her for my extra. However, after some debate I've decided that explaining why I want Dolce would probably make for a better form. I also should explain that the somewhat elementary feel to the main part of my form was just something that I decided on the spot since I felt like it would fit since I want this to be simple and sweet(lol). ^^; I'm a musician and a fan of small, squishy, cute creatures. So naturally, I've been stalking Mutatoes and trying to find the perfect little radioactive material x potato x ? hybrid to call my own. Because of my passion for music, this little girl immediately caught my eye. I've 'walked' away from the thread a few times while I worked out in my mind if I really wanted to put the time and effort into entering the competition to adopt her. Tonight, I finally decided that I wouldn't forgive myself if I didn't at least try... Since she is my perfect little Mutato. Dolce's theme fits my life perfectly. The biggest part of my life is totally lost in music. I'm in the school marching band and concert band. I play the flute and piccolo. I've auditioned and made it into my state's All-State Band last year and I plan on doing the same thing again this year. I have weekly private lessons. Music is also one of my possible career choices. Basically, music is my life. The little notes on her tail and the base and treble clef heart make me smile when I see them. I've even drawn that heart design on my hand multiple times in class before. When I saw this design, the first song that I thought of was my favorite song from my All-State experience. This song was Song for Lyndsay. I listen to this song when I'm happy and I listen to this song when I am sad. When I think about Dolce, I can imagine her listening to this song constantly with a little Mutato smile on her face. When people make music, no matter how awful it sounds, they are always sang or made by the heart. " Ongaku's eyes widdened, she beamed, " Really, mama? " " Really. " her mother replied. " When will I be able to make music? Now? Later? " her mother smiled, " anytime, anywhere. "



" now... anywhere... I gotta be brave! " she thought and her eyes shone with determination, she opened her mouth and sang her favourite song. Today was a competition, a dance, singing and making music. She was going to make it into the finals! Win first prize for singing. Ongaku twirled around, dancing as she sang. It brought joy to her, her shyness had gone away, after remebering the past.
As the song ended, Ongaku bowed, and said cheerfully, " Thank you for your attention! " her shyness had returned back, everything seemed to happen in a daze. She went back stage, and took off the headset for singing, she placed it on the table and ran even more backstage.
Ongaku spotted Cecila, she waved her paw and ran over, " Cecila! Did you see how great I was? And good luck- " Cecila interuppted her, her eyes closed, " how great you were? You mean how bad you were! " Ongaku laughed nervously, " You are a great liar.. this is a joke. "
Cecila stood up, knocking the chair down, " no it is not! We're rivals! We don't say good luck! " Ongaku froze, not knowing what to do. Cecila walked off, upon hearing her name being called.
Ongaku stared at the ground.

The reason I chose this name is because...
I thought of PIchi from Mermaid Melody: PIchi, PIchi, PItch! The anime is about a mermaid who lost her musical pearl and cannot sing correctly, after she obtains it she has to help other mermaid princesses. I thought of it as PIchi is the inspiration to start singing again, and also because PIchi loves to sing to make everyone feel better! <3
