Asurika
(Ah-zure-rih-kah)
Her name Asurika was chosen by her grandmother because it means divine and it is an overall nice sounding name, but because it is such a mouthful to say, Asurika prefers to be called Asuri or Rika, althought Asuri is the most commonly used nickname of the two.
Asuri is a female
The most memorable day.. Was when my element was first discovered...
My element was found when I was still just a young Kia, I didn't know any better and I had not realized the importance of that day until I put my special gift into a good use that made me realize my potential on this earth. I shall tell from the beginning in detail so you will get to understand me better.

The wind swirled around the shore of the icy waters as the tides lapped up heavily on the cliffs. The sun was lowering creating ethereal colors blanketing the once dulled sky. Asuri lived on an island that linked to a forest through a river, she lived there with her family, friends and neighbours. The Kias around her always told her she was gifted when it came to events revolving around water activities such as swimming but she always just shrugged the complements off, besides, Asuri didn't think it was such a great achievement.
The sky darkened and the stars came out, each shimmering across the waters giving it a graceful and enchanting aura in the dim light. Asuri wanted to stay outside for a little longer just to think about some things that were going on in her life. She made her way to her favorite secret spot up on a rocky cliff by the water. She streched out in the cool grass by the cliffs edge. There were some cardinal flowers that grew on the ledge, and they were Asuri's most favored flower because of their ravishing bright colors and the sweet honey-like scent they gave off.
She laid her head down on her paws to rest, and her eyes got heavier with each passing second and before she knew it, she had fallen into a deep slumber.
All was black and in the back of her mind she thought she could hear voices, but she payed no heed to them. The noise got louder and her ear twitched, she could feel her eyes flutter open and her head lifted slightly.
It was still night outside and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary so far. Asuri glanced around with droopy eyes, she felt very tired so she laid her head back down and that's when she heard a shriek. Immediately Asuri jumped to her feet and looked around trying to find where it came from. A shiver ran through her body as the thought of it being a ghost crossed her mind. What if there really are ghosts? Another shriek broke through the air followed by the sound of splashing water. Asuri looked down the cliff to find there was someone drowning. Oh dear God. She thought. She looked around to see if anyone else was around, but being so late at night there was no one around so she was out of luck. She knew if she ran all the way to the shoreline that it'd be too late, so she took a deep breath and leaped from the cliff.
The wind blew at her fur, brushing her hair aside from her face. She emerged into the water and she swam almost perfectly towards the Kia. The waves had started to pick up and she hurried over to the Kia. Asuri tried to help them, but the terrified Kia grabbed onto Asuri and pulled her into the water with her. Asuri's vision blurred and she tried to swim but couldn't. It was all too suffocating and she somehow knew where her fate would lie now, but what she didn't account for, was that there was another way.
Asuri opened her eyes. Am I dead? Is this the afterlife? She questioned. Asuri looked around to find that she was floating on top of a whirlpool of water. She wasn't in the depths of the dark and cold water, but rather was standing on it. Asuri looked around, noticing the Kia from earlier was also saved by the water and it was carrying them all to shore. It was broad daylight outside and yet the day seemed so.. Unreal.. Did I do this? Asuri pondered. Asuri closed her eyes for a moment, and she chanted words through her mind directed towards the water, and at once the tides rose and drifted them both to shore unharmed and safe. The other Kia thanks Asuri for saving her, and they became best friends, which made Asuri overjoyed because she has never had any friends before on this small and isolated island.
To this day Asuri has been forever grateful for her wonderful gift, she has used it for many needs such as bringing in the rain when they needed it and helping others. Asuri knows that she can even have a great impact on the earth and that she can put her gift to good use.

The currents churn
With unfinished deals
A storm rages
Above the tide
With a trickling stream
Life flows on by
A gentle bubble of air
Float to the surface
The tide pool sings
With a starfish pal
All living organisms
Revolve around me
The moon pulls me to and fro
Art thou the goddess of me
Command my kind, my brethren round
Artemis will thee hark my songs?
Whirl pool spin me round spin me round
Thy fury makes me drown
Hide me away from the sights of the mournful
O most feared, swallow them whole

O Waterfall pour me, pour me through thy rocks
Arethusa free me into the air
Make me vapor
Make me fog
Set thy eerie feeling
Set thy wish upon us
We're nothing but the broken old
Cent'ries upon Cent'ries ago
The sun boil me into thy air
Art thou the god of me
Command my kind, my brethren 'round
Apollo will thy acclaim me worthy?
Tsunami, hurricanes, typhoons, tidal waves
All part of what I am
Am I thy monster to vanquish the fires
And destroy the homes of innocents?
Rain, drizzle
All part of who I am
Am I thy angel to feed thy flowers
And give life to the poor?
