I'm fairly sure there isn't any rules against it, because 1st of all, it's not like your stealing from someone, it is yours. And you didn't get the character, so you still have that personality and name to expense {At least that's the way I see it}

History: Chrys grew up like a normal kid besides her love for archery. She was shipped off to boarding school which she hated oh so much. One night she slipped out of the grounds and roamed the forest carrying with her, her bow and arrows. Chrys stumbled upon a little hit that was home to a witch. Chrys being her stubborn self laughed when the old lady said she was a witch. This angered the witch so she cursed Chrys into having wings. Chrys angered shot an arrow into the sky, and that was when she tested the theory.
